My GI doctor put me on FODMAP a couple weeks ago because I have been extremely extremely bloated for months now and nothing he has prescribed or recommended has helped.
Right after I started my bloat was SOOO much better, for like a week! I am still getting bloated a lot of the time though, so am getting discouraged.
I was very bad today and cheated by eating 2 pieces of chocolate 🙁 DH had gotten some for his birthday from a friend from a farmer’s market. He doesn’t like nuts but most of them contained nuts, so he didn’t eat them. I snuck 2 pieces and am SUPER SUPER bloated now 🙁
I find that even eating rice pasta makes me bloated. and peanut butter sometimes AHHH!
Is anybody else on FODMAP? It has been a huge change going from eating everything to being dairy and gluten free. And I miss my wine (the HARDEST part by far!).
Does anyone have a tips? Care to share any experiences???
