Hi Miss BBQ-
I'm looking at venues around that area; in an ideal world (where I'd have no budget lol) I would definitely look into the Messina Hof winery and vineyards as a venue. If you're definitely planning to get married in Aggieland, I'd definitely check it out-it looks gorgeous!

My wedding's in Houston, but I've been planning sorority events in C-Stat for years! Sooo many lovely places!
I just moved here for my fiance, so I am totally lost on vendors!

What sorority, bluebonnet? I was a KD but most of my friends were Theta, Chi-O, or Pi Phi.

Miss BBQ, what vendors do you need? It's a college town so they're a little light on vendors, but you can source some of them from Houston/Austin/Dallas. For venues I would try Messina Hof, Hilton, 7F Lodge, Christopher's (reception room, great food), Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham, or try looking at some Bed and Breakfasts in Cstat, Bryan, or Navasota (I stayed at the Casablance B&B in Navasota and always thought it would be great for a wedding). There's actually a lot of great venues, it just depends on what type of wedding you want.
@qui40067, you're getting married the day before me! We're wedding weekend buddies, lol! I didn't go look at Messina Hof, 'cause the package prices were so expensive. But they have delicious wine! Hehe.

@amanda.lynn A meetup would be fun! I'm sure there are more, I went to a bridal fair here this weekend and it was PACKED!
@stacyreeves Mainly florists and caterers, I think ... we are having like 150 or so people, and are trying to keep costs reasonable. Thanks for the venue suggestions!
