@BookishBelle:  All the time.  Sometimes I realize I am being too mean and other times it’s because I can’t say what I am trying to say in a succinct way.

Oh yes. Sometimes it’s because I can’t find a way to say my response in a polite way, it just comes out blunt.

Yup.  Sometimes I type really snarky replies, then think better of it before I hit submit.

Sigh. Yes. Usually it’s like, “…ugh, not worth it. [click]”

@BookishBelle:  Totally. I’ve deleted so many responses. I wish I had more balls sometimes but I feel like bees would think I’m the biggest bitch in the world. *Hangs head in shame* Yes, I care about random peoples opinions of me. I know it’s dumb.

Nah, I post it anyway 🙂

But yes. I think it’s going to be one sentence and then it’s a novella.

All the time.  I can be very blunt and have a sarcastic dry sense of humor, so a lot of the things I would like to say probably would not be taken the right way.  I don’t need to deal with drama just because humor doesn’t work in text form.

I usually won’t respond to a post if it has had more than 20 responses already. At that point someone has most likely already said what i would say so i don’t bother.

I do that not only on here, but in text messages, e-mails, etc. A simple reply turns into a long, drawn out explination that usually ends up straying from the original question or post.

@BookishBelle:  How did you get the box?  I like it! (ETA: Nevermind, it looks like it’s an OP thing.  This was just the first thread where I noticed it.  I do like it!)

Yeah, sometimes I write a reply and then don’t post for all kinds of reasons.

@BookishBelle:  Yes, a lot. And sometimes I post it even when I know I’m gonna get flack. But if I posted something like that it’s because I think it needed to be said. And sometimes I feel guilty when I choose not to post something in defense of another poster just because I don’t want to get involved in that trainwreck.
