I think that's pretty normal. Most framed photos we have are of my husband, my dog, and myself- we're the people who live here. Once we have kids, we'll put up photos of them. I don't think there's anything wrong with having more photos of the people you're closest to.
Well, FI and I have 11 in our apartment, and that is NOT including any engagement pictures, and our wedding hasn't happened yet.
I have 2 8x10ish pictures displayed in an old barn window (6 pane window, 2 panes are pictures, one is cork board)- these might get switched to wedding pictures eventually.
Then I have a "picture wire" that has six 4x6 pictures hanging from it, and most are nature pictures but one is of me and one is of FI.
Then I have the 4 picture frames FI made and hung in trees when he proposed- there is one picture from each year we had been dating. Those are hanging in our dining room.
Then I have a picture of us on our bookshelf, and 2 pictures sitting on our entertainment center.
I also have a set of 6 frames that I want to order engagement pictures for.
Um.... maybe I am the one with the narcissism problem? And I really felt like we didn't have many pictures at all...
we have abut the same and we're in less than 600 sq ft! they are the most recent photos of us, so I don't feel bad about it at all.
We have 6, and I feel like that's bad. We didn't even get back our huge wedding portrait which will def. be put up in full view. I was thinking of taking at least one picture down. All the other pictures are of our dogs and there's 2 of my family. He don't even have any of his up lol.
We have 9 in 730 square feet! Two of those are our STD postcards on the fridge, but the rest are full-on framed photos. They'll be joined by our kick ass travel photos after our Asia trip next year (6 month belated honeymoon!!!). Bring on the narcissism! ;-)
I think we have..2 pictures of us up in our house and maybe 30ish pictures of us together (total) --I am usually taking pictures & my partner avoids them like a ninja.

I just counted and between general couple/vacation pictures, engagment photos and wedding photos we currently have 16 pictures of ourselves framed and displayed in our 850 sq ft apartment.
Is this totally excessive, or normal?
