I am planning on finding a second job. Mailing out my resume today or tomorrow at a place down the road from me. Good luck.
Sort of, I'm start my second job today so I can pay off all of my debt before we get married.
DH ended up getting a second job. His option paid much more than mine did. I don't have a degree in anything that can be done PT or at night. I would figure out how much extra you could make and see if it's worth your while. I did somethings for my wedding that I could have done without but I don't regret it at all.
I kind of have to. J has been laid off and it doesn't look like anyone will hire him any time soon.
Not a second job but thinking of getting a summer job because I have summer's off.
No, but we're alright on money. I probably would. Make sure you weigh the extra money against the lack of free time, FI and I started getting greedy and working too much and then we realized we missed each other too much and it wasn't worth it.
I work part time at a bridal salon on the weekends and I also sell on ebay. I make a good salary, but I just don't like the idea of depleting my savings for a wedding. I rather earn that money elsewhere. FI doesn't work a second job because he is in school completing a second degree.
I tutored more children than normal during the summer prior to the wedding to make extra $. It definitely helped!
I sell things on Etsy here and there and I am also looking for a night/weekend thing for extra cash! If I want it bad enough Im willing to pick up a 2nd job for it! =)

Is anyone else looking for a second job to help pay for the wedding? I am paying for the majority of my wedding and lately it is hitting me that I need to bring in more money to get everything I want. I make a good salary, but with my other bills I still can't save enough to pay for the wedding of my dreams. Yes, I know that I could just cut back on the wedding--but this is a once in a lifetime kinda day, and I want it all, lol. And I don't want to create any debt. I don't mind working a part-time job--I have done it before. I just wanted to see if anyone else was looking at this option.
