My boyfriend and I recently decided on the ering style that we will be going with – the picture has a much larger diamond than we will get but the same style. I have been looking at bands to go with it and I LOVE this style (in the same metal color) but have zero idea what they’ll look like together. Can anyone show me theirs?

@nneyland: that is seriously a beautiful ring! Both of them are lovely, however, I’m not sure if that band will compliment the e-ring. It’s one of those things that you will just have to try on and see. The band looks more like a stand alone type ring….but that’s just my opinion…wear what YOU want 🙂

@megan331979: Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. I can’t try on the band – it’s a custom order type of deal, grr! I have a feeling I’ll end up doing a simple eternity band or something just really small and basic, but I’d still love to have a band of any sort really! It’ll just be a fun game figuring it out once the ring is actually here I suppose! But thanks for the help 🙂

Hi @nneyland: first and foremost I see this is your DEBUT post on WBee, so a BIG Welcome to “the Hive”
My best advice… get the ERing on your finger, and then go from there.
With custom work ANYTHING is possible, and you could have a WBand made that will both complement the shape of your Halo Ring, as well as feature the “leaf” pattern you seem to love.
A good Goldsmith would be able to help you in this regard. And like many Bees you might be pleasantly surprised by the experience, ability to make your own choices, quality of work, and even the cost. Sometimes working custom or semi-custom is quite competitive because they have access to a wider assortment of diamonds / gems, and you don’t pay the outrageous store mark up that chain stores charge.
Hope this helps,

@This Time Round: Huge help! And thank you for the welcome, I can’t believe I haven’t been stalking this site for ages! 🙂
We’re actually going through a private jeweler for the ering so that’s a great idea! I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that – the marquise bands just seemed so unusual, I’ve only ever seen it on two random jewelry sites. I’ll definitely look into custom work though, I feel like it would be such a gorgeous band to wear on its own and in a strange way I feel like the heftiness of it could serve to balance the split shank well. But again, we’re all correct in that I would really need to see something either sketched up or put something like it on my finger.
