I am, however, I didn't finish the book yet... I'm one of those weirdos that has to read the book before watching the movie. =)
ME. i can't wait to see it. I wanted to read the book first but it hasn'[t happened....and probably won't for awihle so i may as well see a movie i'm actually excited to see!
All I can say is this...about the books.
Davinci Code book is 100 times better than the movie..and the movie was GOOD.
Angels and Demons imho is the better book of the two..so it's probably going to be incredible!
I swear..I think I read that book in 3 days flat...it was so exciting and read so quickly with all the action..but it's that tinge of historical fiction that keeps you coming back and questioning..
Btw, his books make for great table conversation and deep discussion with your FI. T's reading Angels and Demons now btw..we had a huge talk after we watched DaVinci together..he loved it! never read it though.
It's been awhile since I've read the book but I'm def. looking forward to seeing the movie.
I also can't stand when must-read-book-first-readers, like myself, do nothing but complain about how the movie butchered the book. Well duh... they can't fit a 1000 page book into a two hour movie. DaVinci Code is one of three I have ever complained about... I thought it was choppy and not so great. The other is HP5 and Eragon. lol.
I just know to never go in with expectations... b/c in most cases they really are separate entities. I'm excited either way.
Oh and Dan Brown has another book coming out soon along the same lines of A&D, CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Woo hoo! I'm a Dan Brown-iac! Anybody read "Deception Point"? That was imho good too. Very different though.

I LOVED THAT BOOK...even more than DaVinci.
Always a bit sour that Harrison Ford wasn't Robert Langdon thought b/c the character was described as "Harrison Ford in a Harrison tweed"...so he got stuck in my mind as who he should look like. But Tom Hanks did a great job in the first movie.
Who's with me going to see it Friday night? I can't wait!!!
What a movie summer we're gonna have..first there was Star Trek (loved it)..and now this..next there's Transformers and my son's other fave, Harry Potter!
