I'm getting married in St. Louis and my reception will be in Ithaca. We're renting Clapp Memorial Park and getting married at the gazebo. Our reception will be at the Town & Country Recreation (which I would highly recommend).

I live in Detroit, but will be getting married on my parents farm in Richmond. We're lucky because my fiance's aunt is an event planner and has all these contacts for us to utilize.. most are in the Southfield Area. Our cake is from Ann Arbor and photography with be provided my Bella Photography. The only thing local we are using is catering.

I am getting married July 2010 in Midland Mi

Dow Gardens ceremony

Reception is at the new Holiday Inn *it just opened three days ago* so it is new and also has a sports bar open until 2am and indoor outdoor spa and pool, not to mention out of town guests can stay the night. Decent sized banquet room and fairly neutral decor whether you are going modern or frilly. Meal is moderately priced as well.

But honestlyone of the major things that sold us was the fact that the staff there treated us soo well, very honest and down to earth even got to meet with the exec. chef..

so i highly reccommend...

My photog is from GR, but travel to Detroit was included in our booking. I think she includes travel around the state. I love her: amyboevephotography.com.

And our DJ is from Port Huron - Big Foot DJs. Haven't yet had a chance to really work with them, but they had a really high Weddingwire.com rating, which is a big plus in my book.
