YES! Especially since my FI warned me (well, asked) that he will be making a speech and will have a toast to my late mother. SOB.

@brooklyn_bee:  Yeah, I’m gonna be a mess.  I cry at EVERYTHING.  I can’t even think about certain wedding-related things without getting teary.  It’s an inevitable truth.

@brooklyn_bee:  I cried the ugliest cry when he proposed. I cannot even imagine the ugly cry that’s going to happen at the wedding LOL

@brooklyn_bee:  OMG saw your thread and HAD to post LOL. ME!

I know for a fact I will be crying the whole time! We’re not engaged yet but I will literally randomly tear thinking about when SO proposes, when SO talks to my parents before proposing, when picturing myself walking down the aisle to our song, etc. I get so emotional at weddings. I’ve been to 4 weddings and I’ve cried at every single one of them LOL.

You know what. I always was sure I’d sob the whole way down the aisle and all the way through my vows. But adrenaline really just took over for me, and I made it through everything just fine. 🙂 So my point is, you just never know how you’ll react! And this is coming from someone who sobs at her friends’ weddings and at basically everything. 🙂

Oh I’m so worried about this.  I’m so NOT an emotional person normally but wedding stuff gets me every time.  I’ve never been to a wedding where I haven’t teared up.

I thought I would cry when he proposed and I didn’t. Not at all. He teared up, though! I think I will be so freaking nervous walking down the aisle that I’d be more inclined to throw up or trip and fall (I’m a klutz) than cry. We’ll see, though! I think FI will definitely cry..he’s a lot more nostalgic/mushy than I am.

@brooklyn_bee:  the funny thing is, I was the opposite! I can be a bit of a hardass sometimes so it completely surprised me when I started blubbering :’D

I was, and that’s one of the reasons why we ended up doing a first look. I got my big emotions out of the way when it was just him and me (and the photographer at a discreet distance.)

I brought it up with my minister- “that’s okay, if you cry, we’ll wait for you.” There are a couple of really cute photos from the ceremony of me starting to well up a little, and another of DH handing me my wedding hankie (he had it in his tux.)

@brooklyn_bee:  Oh. I wanted to add that I think I cried the most at my brother’s wedding. My SIL is the mushiest person EVER and she didn’t even cry! I think she transferred the tears to me 😛

I totally cried through at least half of the ceremony. It turned out fine, but I definately got teased for it!
