I just bought a BNIB pair of Starletta’s, and I’m now obsessed with finding out everything I can before they get here. While perusing the Angela Nuran site, I found this:
How do I trade in my shoes?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org for a Trade In form, or phone in your request. We take your gently worn Angela Nuran wedding shoes (undyed) and replace them with a new identical pair in black.
I was considering dying my shoes, but if I can trade them for an everyday black pair, I think I’d be happier.

@Mrs Canuck: Those would be adorable in black.
I would definitely consider not dying them and trading them in. I ended up selling my wedding shoes which I don’t regret but it would have been nice to have some sort of momento after the wedding, especially if that momento was black and went with everything. 🙂

I traded my Decos in for a pair of Astorias. Part of the reason I went with Angela Nuran (aside from the fact that the shoes were so comfortable), was the trade-in factor. My brother is having a formal wedding this August, and I got married in April, so I thought – same shoes, different colors – great deal.
After my wedding I emailed the address listed on the site and let them know I was interested in taking advantage of the trade-in option for my gently-used Decos. I received a very prompt reply saying that they were able to do the trade-in while their supply of black satin was still available, and the email included a listing of about five different styles they had in stock in my size. I made my decision and emailed back, and the next day received a brief form and instructions for sending my shoes in. It’s $80 for the new shoes (but they aren’t dyed, so they won’t stain your feet if they get wet) and $15 for shipping. Overall, a pretty painless process.

@Mrs Canuck: @Roussy82: wow! I had no idea about this. I’ve been wearing my Angela Nuran’s around the house for the last few days to break them in before the wedding, and was just thinking that I would have them dyed black after the wedding so I can wear them again. Its great to know this is an option!
