Ooohh, I did the first three weeks and then lost my motivation when I had a huge paper due. I really want to start it again. I really liked the three weeks that I did.

I’m not doing c25k, but I’ve been running for a long time.  The first days should always be difficult, but they should always be manageable. If you’re feeling dizzy I would think there’s three things I would say you should consider

1) Make sure you’re hydrated (this is usually when I get dizzy). You should be drinking plenty of water during the day or that you’re carrying water with you (you can get cool belts for that)

2) It’s too hot when you’re running. (It’s summer, this happens a lot)  I usually run early morning or on the evening.

3) You’re going too fast to start. You might just need to slow down and pace yourself.

I love the Couch to 5 K program because I think it really helps people accomplish goals they never thought they could.  My mom started with something similar and has recently done a half marathon.  It really does work.  Finding a group is also usually helpful 🙂

Hello ladies! Hope it’s not too late to join!

I had started the C25K a few weeks back, did week one, got sick, did week on again, started week two, got REALLY sick, and then never got back into it. Shucks.

I am thinking of starting again!

I found my running worked best on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday because I have class on Monday nights, and I’m usually out Saturdays, but I’m going to switch it up to Friday/Sunday/Tuesday because of a change in my schedule.

Hopefully I can get back into it. When i did week one for the second time it was SO much easier than the first, and it was honestly so empowering to know that I could do those intervals without feeling like I was going to die.

Good luck ladies!

I did the C25K in the spring and ran my first 5K in May. I now am doing the C210K. I love that it stars slowly adn you build up. It never feels unmanagable. Sometimes I always run Monday/Wednesday adn Friday and sometimes I repeat the Friday run on Sunday as well.

@kdane:  That’s awesome!

I’m thinking I’m going to start C25k again, I always end up quiting around week 3 due to being sick/weather.  But I’m feeling motivated!
