I'll be watching! I graduated from FSU and HATE Tim Tebow with the fire of a thousand suns, so I'm rooting for Alabama :)
P.S. That is not meant to be offensive to you Speechie! I actually hate Tim Tebow a lot more because one of my creepy ex-bf's looks JUST like him and it grosses me out to look at him. :) I'd dislike him if he played for any team.

The game I am actually looking most forward to this weekend is the Cincy/ Pitt game for teh Big East title!
I'll be watching! I'm at FSU right now, so I could NEVER cheer for Florida. Hope Bama wins! And my bf's entire family lives in AL, so I think he'd be upset if I didn't cheer for them. And I really dislike Tim Tebow and all the hype he gets! When I watch Florida games, I always wonder why the announcers just don't go on the field and start fellating him. (Sorry if that offends anyone. haha).
I have a crazy confession. I think Tebow is kinda cute. In a rogue kind of way.

I heard one of our local radio stations (rock 100.5) last week joked that they were sending Sea Bass (the gopher wanna be dj) to the game dressed as a Bama fan and have him carry a live mic and carry a sign that says "The Almighty hates Tim Tebow". Just to see how the fans would react at the GA dome.
I actually heart BOTH teams! I just want the SEC to win the national championship! I have to admit though, Texas is pretty tough and Colt McCoy is a shoe in imho for the Heismann!
I'm a true blue Gator Fan! Born and Raised in the Sunshine State! I was born into a UF family while my parents were in school there! My fiance is just as big a Gator fan!
Can't wait for the game- we're going to be watching it at home with some friends and family and cheering on our Boys! Go Tebow!
I hope Bama wins. As an FSU Alum I can only hope that someone will beat those Crocs (yes I know that isn't the mascot)
I'll be there! I'm in the front row end zone - Gator section!! I'll be waving my gator flag like crazy so look for me during field goals!! (We're between the goal posts!) I'm the HUGEST gator fan so we better win!!!

The Auburn grad/fan in me finds it painful to cheer for 'bama after last weekend (and all the crap I'm catching from people whom I haven't spoken to in years that felt the need to email me after the game talking smack) but then again I don't like Florida either. So I'm torn... at the moment I'm pulling for 'bama hoping that they play Texas in the National Championship. So for the moment I've switched out my "war eagle" for "hook 'em horns". :)

This is gonna be one interesting game! My boss used to be the catcher for the Gators baseball team so he's super into it and another guy I work with is Bama all the way and on monday, there will be either a crimson or orange sash hanging over the doorway into our department! The heat is ON!
Mrs. Mouse I agree with you TX is an awesome team. I seriously think though that Colt McCoy will def with the Heismann!
I wish TX were in the SEC! THey're just a little to far west though. My school, Univ. of Memphis always plays several SEC teams and we're in some wierd league now and I honestly don't like the other teams they play.
@GGSB: hey girl! Hope all's goin' well my neighbor! Thanks for that. Btw, how does your suggestion of an ATL meetup at Cafe Intermezzo sound to you? I can totally understand your football preference. The teams coming out of alabama have some serious rivalries.

We'll be watching. I always like the Championship week games, because our conference is done and you can just see what happens. Of course, I have a lot of school work, but I'm definitely going to try to get it done before Bama-Florida. I don't really have a rooting interest there. I am SO sick of hearing about Tebow and I can't stand Nick Saban so...just want it to be interesting?

i wont be, sadly. i'll be at a wedding, where both the bride and groom went to uf and are huge gator fans. i just don't get it, didn't they check the important dates before scheduling the wedding! i'm fsu and my fi is uf, so football is very important for us. however i too weirdly have a thing for tim tibow. i think if you hear someone's name enough times, it grows on you.
I'll be watching! I'm a die hard Bama fan first, and a SEC fan second :) It should be a fun game to watch. I decided not to go home from school this weekend because of finals. I'm sad that I don't get to watch with my family and fiance, but happy one of my bffs and I are going to watch together :)

@ Bellenga: I live about 30 minutes from Gainesville, so just about everyone is a Gator fan around here, and I think about 90% of females, and 30% of males have a crush on Tebow. Seriously.
We are going! I'm a Bulldawg fan and since my team had a rather ugly season, they aren't playing in the game this year. However, my hubby always gets tickets ahead of time because he is a sports fanatic so we are planning to go watch the great game, do a little shopping at Phipps, and stay in ATL for the night. That sounds like a win-win to me!

ROOOOOOOOOLLLLLL TIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I live in Alabama now so I'm going for them! Even tho I grew up in Florida I NEVER liked the Gators...and where I live people are crazy about BAMA or Auburn lol I've never seen anything like it lol!

I have a very important date (might be THE date) with my guy and he's recording it. One of my coworkers is going with his wife and it was his birthday present getting tix to it!
It may snow btw here in ATL on saturday!
I actually love both the SEC teams playing, but in the end, tip my head to the Bama side due to where my family resides right now.
Anybody watching?
