...fall off the face of the earth? not the bee bloggers, more like the members of the hive. I really wonder what happened to some of them! There was no "goodbye, thanks!" letter to give closure or "hey i got married!" and some of them just really kinda disappeared. I see old posts pop up and their responses and go, "oo what happened to her?" then click on her page and see she hasn't posted in a month or 3 months or whateve, but they were really active members a couple months ago
Anybody else think about somebody random like and wonder how life on "that side of the fence" is treating them? If so, who are you wondering about!
Recently, a couple popped into my head. I saw Babilu's dress on TV last week and remembered her Oscar de la Renta dress, but haven't seen her posting around in months...same for Bobbypinpearls, the girl who said she was going to leave her mom's house at 18 and get married. Did she?! I have no idea! FizicsGirl was another one....I have people like this in my "real" life who pop into my head occassionally and I wonder about them. How about you?
I totally wonder that! Babilu was moving out of the country, so there's no telling where she went. The bloogers, though, I really wonder about since they're so public. Especially the ones that left before getting married (i.e. Mr. Mango, who I LOVED). I understand their right to privacy, especially if circumstances aren't going their way but man... makes me feel a little abandoned.
@EJS: I was definitely thinking about Babilu's dress the other day LoL. And now that you mention it, I do wonder what happened to bobbypinpearls.
Does anyone remember the girl who bought the David's Bridal dress but had to pay all this money to get it altered and then ran out of money for the wedding? Her FI was a CPA or something? I always wondered what happened to her.
I've been wondering about a few myself. What happened to Wildstyle? And I was wondering about Babilu as well. I guess the WB addiction doesn't infect everyone:(
I haven't been around here long enough to get to know people that have left, but that has happened to me on another message board I frequent. For whatever reason people drop off the radar, and I find myself wondering how they are.
Some of them do tend to lurk, though, so maybe we should have some sort of an update thread! I wonder if some girls feel they don't have as much to contribute now that they're not planning? Totally not the case, of course!

Totally random! Maybe we saw the same magazine spread, but it was DEFINITELY her dress.
I kinda stopped following the blogs awhile ago. I missed a couple weeks while I was on my honeymoon, then while i was on a work trip, and when I came back, I had no idea who anyone was and I was never able to catch up. Then i just felt lost and disconnected from the bloggers so I stopped following. Bad EJS. Bad!

I sometimes feel like WB is like my personal soap opera, or reality TV show. You follow a "story" or thread for a few weeks and then never find out how it ended!
maybe they became BEES! I want a full list of everybody's pre bee and post bee names so i can keep up.
@ejs - what I want to know is what happened to your blinding green posts!
how do you get colored posts? i see i have a light celadon lil' box that compliments my eyes, haha.
@Melissabegins: I always wonder what some of the Bees names were "pre-Bee" also. The only one I remeber interacting with before was Miss Bruschetta & thats cause her Bee pic was her avaitar before she became a Bee, I was like "oh, I remeber her!"

I also miss the bee bloggers... I think we all understand if they decide to move on to new projects / their new life rather than finishing recaps, but I wish they would send a goodbye post, you know? Otherwise I feel (ashamed to say it, ;-) like I keep waiting and hoping that they will post another update.... Maybe Mr / Mrs Bee or Pengy could let us know if they decide not to update anymore?

My colors disappeared because I hit "busy beekeeper" this morning, with 6750 posts. I PM'd Mr. Bee about it--i've had people asking me about it all day because it's confusing and looks kinda weird, so I'm betting they're working on the coding for it and probably didn't expect to have any busy beekepers yet, haha. So for now there's a big blank spot before my posts.
I just posted a "pre-bee" post to see if we can figure out if any past faves are now bees. I'm curious!
I saw it! I hope people post. It'd be cool to see the connection, but I could see that maybe they don't want that connection made....it'd be cool to just know they're bees now, not specifically which ones in order to maintain some privacy if they'd like

I agree! I've been thinking about some bees that we always my favorites only have them...be MIA without an explanation! I am also interested to see who the bees were, pre bee status!
Oh I miss Mr. Mango too! He is probably super buried in wedding planning - I seem to recall that they had to move their wedding date up, and he is probably super stressed. It would be nice to hear from him!
I have only been around three months, so I haven't seen many others disappear, but now I am getting to know who the regulars are - so no disappearing, lol!
At first I just sorta joined wedding be to get ideas about my wedding - but now I am really beginning to get attached to the community! You sort of get an ideas of people's personalities through their comments and threads :)
I'm still waiting for Mrs. Martini to finish her recaps--I love her posts!

There was another thread about Mr. Mango. He did leave for personal reasons Mr. Bee said.
I think some Bees names dissapear when they quit, I can't remeber her name, but a Bee in the past canceled her engagement & her bee name was no longer seen. I think Mr. & Mrs. Bee just eliminate their name for the sake of their privacy.
so maybe miss hot dog quit then...i would feel bad as her last post was so hoenst and brave...
I'm a little sad that we can't read many of their past posts, although I totally understand that they might want them taken down for privacy reasons, and I respect that. I especially love reading the Chicago Bees, though, and it's disappointing when I hear about a former Chicago Bee whose posts have been taken down!
I don't know if you guys know about this, but I read recently somewhere that Mrs. Bee sold weddingbee to eharmony. Since eharmony has not been accepting of the gay and lesbian community, alot of the bee bloggers have left weddingbee to show their support of the LGBT community. This is maybe only one explanation of what happen to some bees.
yes, it was a very honest post! I can't necessarily relate from my own experience, but reading about making mistakes from that perspective was really refreshing. When you're really deep into a relationship, and a big problem comes up, it's hard to see both sides clearly. As readers, we're able to understand that she goofed, but how she felt about it and was commited to changing / learning. I'm a stubborn Taurus, so forgiving / forgetting isn't very easy, but I honestly did put a lot of thought into that post and what things must have been like for both parties and how they've grown from it. Wish everyone all the best!
