The left side is " Guru Laura" in Kanji.

Hi hive!
So, my brother is in the navy, stationed in Japan right now. I just recently got engaged, and he sent me this pretty frame with a peacock and a message. I know its something nice about love or something, but I have no clue what it says! I would be soooo grateful if any of you could translate this for me... my name is Laura and my fiance's name is Guru, which is probably in there somewhere...
I know I could just ask him, but with the time difference and strict military schedule he can be a difficult guy to reach! and he never checks his email, lol.
