Me, too! I have been baking and cooking all day. I’m going to bed early. I think all the prep I’ve done will make things go better though. FI is in the kitchen prepping onions for me! I’m having wine now.

I haven’t cooked a bit, but I did a TON of laundry…so exhausted from that. But I just finished putting it all away! Did bedsheets, and all towels and crap too. My sis is coming to visit, and hoping to get the place clean πŸ™‚

Yes!  Just got home from work.  (Woke up at 6 AM for work this morning.)  Need to workout, eat dinner, and bake a pumpkin pie before I go to bed, and all I want to do right now is go to sleep πŸ™

Turkey is brining and I’m taking a break to have a drink and go out for some sushi! I wish we could do more to prepare beforehand you know? Like I wish I could have been cooking the past 2 days, but most of the stuff I’m making can’t really be made until tomorrow… boo!

Mr. Peng wants to go on a hike in the morning… I want to go too but I’m afraid it might bite me in the ass and I’ll be so tired and running late! Alas, I will def. go… will make the turkey taste all that much sweeter πŸ™‚

*raises hand*

I just battled my turkey to get it in the brine.  There were some mishaps.  Hopefully I can get it in the oven in one piece!

I made smoked salmon spread, made the cornbread stuffing but didn’t bake it yet, same with the green bean casserole.  I’m tired, my back hurts and I still have to clean this joint since FI’s family and my family are coming over tomorrow!

Yes, I made half of the mashed potatoes tonight and my hand was cramping up after peeling about 7 potatoes.  I swear I have carpel tunnel.  I don’t know how I will peel the remaining 10 pounds tomorrow!

We also prepared the stuffing tonight (just have to put it in the oven tomorrow).

And we made cranberries tonight.

Tomorrow is the turkey, the rest of the mashed potatoes, yams, and bread rolls.

Oh boy is it going to be a long day.  I hope the meal turns out delicious!

I’m just tired from our 4.5 hour drive!  We’re at our ILs this year, so I’m not actually going to have to do anything.  I wanted to bake a pie or something, but she insisted on doing everything, so I just left it at that. πŸ˜‰

i am just starting with the chicken!!! i am cooking a lemon pepper garlic butter-y roasted chicken (i don’t like turkey)… i am only having to feed the five of us so everything else can wait until tomorrow… i am baking a pie in the morning as well as a few sides (crawfish fettucini, dressing will go in the oven tonight) as well as rolls, etc… but everything else can really be made in the morning…

Cre- Crawfish fettucini? I’m coming to your house for Thanksgiving! Can I have that recipe? Some of our friends do a crawfish camp trip every year and I would love to make that!

@az: ummm i’m being lazy, i brought some frozen crawfish, will thaw it out (thanks for reminding me!!!) and then toss it in some garlic and tony’s, then i will sautee it in olive oil, after i do that i will throw it into the fettucini… i don’t use cream or anything like that, i just bought the regular alfredo that ragu makes… i need a better recipe, but since i have to work tomorrow no time πŸ™ POO!  definitely come on out!! lol!!! and while you’re at it we can trade bodies and you can work out and tone me up while i am lazy mm-kay….
