Hi, sweetkate, I actually live just a few minutes from Paradise Park. It's really beautiful; I'm sure your wedding will be stunning! I don't have any pictures, but the park is really gorgeous. You have incredible views of the mountains, and there are pretty trees, flowers, and a stream.
You said you had found some pictures online... have you seen these yet? I don't have any pictures I've personally taken of the park, so Google is all I've got. :)

I would say, since your wedding is in August, you would probably be fine to have the reception outside. As long as it's not too late, it would be warm enough to even go sans tent if you wanted. Anyway, let me know if you have any more questions... And if I find any more pics I'll let you know!

Oh I didn't even see your reply on this post before I posted on the other thread! Oops! I have talked to Steve a number of times on the phone since I posted this. He is such a nice guy. Thanks for the pictures! My aunt sent me pictures of the ceremony spot but I really haven't seen the rec hall and patio. I'm going up on wednesday to scout things out and finalize all the tables and chairs and what not.

It is a beautiful park! I don't have any pics yet but I am so happy we got married there. The only thing that was a little rough was the wind. We did plastic tablecloths to save on money and they kept blowing all over the place. But other than that it was gorgeous! You are going to LOVE it! And Steve is sooo nice! He helped set up and stuck around most of the day to make sure everything was going ok.
As soon as I get some pictures from friends I will post them for you!
Oh, I am so happy you loved the park! I am slowly getting everything accomplished. Yeah! You're married! Hooray! Congrats!

There are some really good views of the park but the pics are kind of small. I am going to set up a flickr account and post some there so hopefully you can get a good idea of what the park looks like all set up. Steve was so nice, he even helped set up tables and chairs and had an extra aisle runner for us. There is a pathway from the ceremony site down to the clubhouse, just a warning it is covered with that bark stuff and if you have strappy sandals it can be kind of hard to walk on... I kept getting it in my shoes. But we got some really awesome pics of us walking down and it was so fun to see all of our guests mingling and having a good time.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We are getting married there (its in Meyers) on August 29th but we haven't actually been there.... We live in the Bay Area but just haven't found the time to get up there! We found the park online and the few pictures I have seen are really nice so we went ahead and booked it. Does anyone have any pictures? I am going to call the park manager (I'm such a slacker...I've been saying this for a few weeks) to ask about tables and chairs and whether people do the wedding inside the clubhouse or outside.
So I guess the point of this post is to see if anyone has been to the park and what you think about it. We have already paid so we are definitely having our wedding there, I'm just not sure about the logistics of everything. Oh and pics would be great if you have any! Thanks!
