I went a few years ago and LOVED it!!!!! I literally have nothing negative to say about it - great staff, nice rooms (we had the "delux" room, I think), great food, tons to do. It was a great time!!! PM me if you have anymore questions!
That's where we are going! Can't wait. We go in 2 months! I too worry about online reviews but I looked up the reviews for other hotels that I've stayed at that I thought were nice and people said good and bad about both.
I don't read too much into the reviews that say, "they didn't leave a mint on my pillow on night 3 so I'm going to give them a 1 out of 5 stars. Oh but it was one of the best trips in my life!"
THis is where me and my fiance were planning on booking our honeymoon, but I just wanted to make sure and I just read the reviews on tripadvisor.com and there were some really bad reviews. Now I"m so confused. I'm glad I heard that you did love your experience.
I may just book it and hope for the best. We would be going in October too!
I went in September of 2005 and LOVED it. The staff was amazing, food was good, and the resort was beautiful. Can't recommend it enough. Seriously.
I have been speaking with my fiancee about Sandals and we want to go there as well. HOWEVER, I keep hearing that Sept & Oct are storm seasons and it may be best to save that trip for another time. (My wedding might be end of Aug next summer) I am glad to see positive responses though!! IDK what to do!
Any one ever go in storm season?!
We were in St. Lucia towards the end of September in 2005 which I thought was the tail end of their hurricane season. Maybe we were just lucky, but the weather was no problem at all. I think it only rained once or twice and just for an hour or less each time.
We are going here! Can't wait
Does anyone know if they have a hair salon? FH cannot wait for me to get my hair cut and I told him after the wedding. I thought it might be a nice surprise to get it done down there
I dont have a review on that hotel but as for hotel reviews in gerneral i feel like there are mostly bad reviews because only people who have really bad experences normally take the time to leave a review.
The resort we are going to my parents have been to and said they were really worried because of the reviews but when they got there it was nothing like what the bad reviewers said.
I belong to a message board for people from my career, and there are older people on it...many people have gone to sandals resorts for honeymoons there and they loved it...:

We've booked our honeymoon in October at the St. Lucia Sandals Regency for 9 nights. I always get terrified that I've made the wrong choice when I read some reviews online... I'd love to hear feedback from any bees who have been.
