@kotonikak:  I haven’t been there for a honeymoon but spent the holidays there growing up on many occasions.

We usually rented beach houses but have also stayed at the Marriott.. I Recommend either/or

Things to do –

Visit Hell, turtle farm and stingray city. All very fun. I adore the caymans- it is gorgeous there.

Again not been for honeymoon, but I went for a holiday in April last year (for a friend’s wedding)

We stayed at the Sunshine Suites. Not the poshest place so might not be honeymoony but it was a LOT cheaper (I am from the UK so getting there was mega expensive)

In terms of things to do I would recommend the Sunday brunch at Luca – amazing.

We did stingray city, but the water was quite rough. We also did the turtle farm, only thing here I would say is DO NOT swim with the turtles. I did it and got cellulitus and had to spend a couple of days in hospital. I am sure I got the infection from that pond.

@kotonikak:  I went on a cruise that stopped there. It was my favorite place we stopped. I only got to do one thing while I was there and that was horseback riding on the beach/swimming on the horses through “Spirit of the West”. I’d highly recommend that if you like horses. I’ve also heard that Stingray City is pretty cool and Seven Mile Beach is a very nice beach to visit. Also, if y’all are divers this is one of the best places to go diving!

@kotonikak:  That place did look pretty swanky and right on the beach.

I am getting married in the Cayman Islands and will be honeymooning in Cayman Brac (not the main island) after our wedding festivities.  We have been to the islands a few times in the past and by the way, they actually do have ONE all-inclusive resort on Grand Cayman called The Reef http://www.thereef.com/.

We are scuba divers so that’s mostly what we like to do, but if you are a fan of seafood and a huge foodie, dining out there is fantastic. Don’t miss Eric Rupert’s restaurant “Blue”.

@kotonikak:  oh and not sure if you are planning to go right after your wedding, but October is right in the middle of hurricane season. You will see that pricing is lower because of that, but you are gambling going down there during that time. A lot of hotels and businesses close during this time for renovations/vacation as well so be aware of that. Hurricane season is from June 1 through November 30.
