I am in love with this bridesmaid dress from AA. problem is they are $215+tax in Canada and I promised to buy my 3 girls their dresses because they are travelling from out of town. The dress is GORGEOUS in person, I was taken aback when I went home and looked it up online – it doesn’t look nearly as nice!
Anyways, have you ladies purchased bridesmaid dresses online that turned out fab? If so, what website?
Sorry, the photo uploader isn’t working, here’st he dress i like: http://www.alfredangelo.com/collections/productdisplay.aspx?productID=c86e39ca-587f-4f74-867d-558e34f989ab&categoryID=caed91b4-d73a-4a83-9c04-2608cd65d718&pg=1&colorId1=

I used Victoria’s Bridal – they have a shop in Florida, and an online service. You order the dresses online, but you don’t really get to speak to a real person about the status while you wait for them, which is a pain. That said, they all arrived just fine 🙂 I ordered Alfred Sung dresses. In one of the shops I visited they were $240+, but we got them for around $150-160 each in the end (including shipping).

We’re ordering used J. Crew dresses off of Ebay!

I ordered Henkaa convertible bridesmaid dresses without ever seeing them in person. Same kind of scenario only I’m in the US and my dresses came from Canada, and it sounds like you’re in Canada and want dresses from the US. Wasn’t a big deal =)

I ordered David’s Bridal dresses online after I went to the store and tried one on for myself in the dress in question but in a different color.
I didn’t get to see the exact fabric/color I was ordering but I saw the color I wanted in a similar fabric and crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
They came and they are fabulous!
They are this really unique textured fabric that reflects light so well and they all fit the girls and I could not be happier! YAY! 😀
If you’ve already seen them in person, I’d go for it!
Also, I realized later that the sizes run big so I would make sure to either have the girls get measured and see the size chart applicable to the style or make sure the gowns are returnable if possible

I did, got Bill Levkoff dresses from netbride.com–they were awesome! Loved them, price was half what the bridal salon wanted, free shipping on my order, customer service and contact was A++++.
I am 110% satisfied. Bought 3 of the 5 dresses there and the only reason I didn’t get all 5 was because I added 2 BMs after the fact. I chose them because they have great feedback, BBB membership and A+rating, and are based in the US with a couple of actual brick and mortar stores so I figured they were trustworthy. I was nervous but everything went perfectly, I even got the dresses a month early.
