Some of the bees have used etsy for their invitations...
If you cannot find exactly what you like on etsy or other sites online, I would recommend using the "Alchemy" feature on etsy to find someone who can design your vision. Mrs. Perfume goes into details about how she used the feature and found her invitation designer on etsy.
There are quite a few *amazing* poster invitation designers on Etsy...
I would order a sample first, just to make sure it's exactly what you're wanting.
I love Etsy! I'm using an amazing designer to design our STDs and invitaitons (which I'll print myself) and her prices are great! I highly recommend her. I wanted a vintage looking, almost like a circus poster design for our STD. I love what she's done so far. You can find her at belletristics.etsy.com
She does custom work for reasonable prices. If you don't see a listing for her custom design work, I'd say convo her with your needs!
I'm actually in the process of doing this now. I haven't seen the results yet (STD's are in the mail as we speak)- but I thought the prices were pretty reasonable for what we got and everything was so customizable. The vendor (Tulaloo) has been great to work with and very communicative. I'll let you know how things look when I get to see the actual STD's and Invitations!!
I love etsy! I am using the same vendor that Miss Perfume used, LindseyRyanDesigns, and she is AMAZING! I'm sure she could do your poster invite!
Just made my first purchase on ETSY. I bought the design time for my invitations. I should get the proof this week sometime. Wish me luck!
Oh yes! I used SubtleGlances for most of my invitations and stationary needs. They were fantastic! I also used LindseyRyanDesigns for my shower thank you's! She's a real artist.
Its a lot of fun, but it can be stressful at the same time...
Just got my proof from AprilInk on our wedding invitations! I love what she's done and can't wait to have her print them! We will have to have her give me an image I can upload for all of you to see!
I used Etsy for the invites and my fiance and I were very pleased with the results. Really reasonable price, no stress about mis-prints and mistakes and the seller we went with had tons of choices in the style we like. She was really communicative as well! Whimsical Prints
I used Etsy for my invites and they turned out beautifully! Our seller was PaintingsByShanon and she's great to work with and is doing our donation cards as well :)

I've been trying to find someone who can design me a Poster invitation. I found a few on ETSY. Have any of you used the ETSY site before? What luck did you have?
Has anyone seen poster invitations elsewhere?
