I'm in a suburb outside of Columbus, OH and we built with Wayne Homes. We talked to M/I but they only build in developments and we had our own land and I didn't care for their style. I will say this, I have quite a few friends that either bought fairly new M/I homes or built one and they complain about the quality of work. Foundation not even, drywall not smooth, the list goes on.

To make a long story short, our house hunting journey has taken a weird twist and instead of moving to Toledo we are looking at staying the the Columbus area. We've looked at a few homes but are toying with the idea of building since we could get a fair sized house built for a decent price. We went into the M/I homes showroom today and sat down to talk with a sales person and get a better idea on what we would like to do. We we found a plan that we love and are considering doing a contract with them. I was just curious if any of the bees had built with them (or a company like M/I) and how the experience was and if you are happy with the end results?
