I’m almost 17 weeks and am still wearing my regular jeans.  I just look like I ate too much for lunch.  I will probably have to get a belli band soon, but am otherwise fine.

I don’t mind it, but I wish I could get people to give up their seat on the subway.

I started showing a bit around 15 weeks (18 now) but I still feel like I look like Ive just had too much to eat, not that I’m actually pregnant.

@louisianablue:  Im the same way, I can still fit into my skinny stretchy jeans but need to unbutton after I eat . Old Navy had a sale so I got a pair of maternity jeans there that look nice but it’ll be awhile before they stop saggin I think.

@louisianablue:  Thank you!!  I have a pic from 15 weeks where I look like Im showing alot more, but I was also wearing a fitted tank in that pic so I think it hugged my belly a little more 🙂

@naangel55:  OMG. I tried on one pair of full panel maternity jeans and I wanted to die.  I’m going to try and wear regular pants as long as possible and hopefully just dresses once it is warmer.  I think the belli band will help for a while.

@kenziemt:  Mine seems to vary so much! Like, I can suck it in and flex my core musclesand barely look pregnant, but if I relax and just let it all hang out, it’s big! My abs seem a lot less tight? And also some bloat, maybe? I will post a “suck it in/flex it” and a “let it all hang out” pic later for comparison! I’m 18 weeks, BTW.

I hated that awkward stage when people can’t tell and you just feel chubby.  Hahaha.  I think 25 weeks-ish is the cutest bump phase I had.

@louisianablue:  Go for the Demi panels! T hey are just a bit higher then regular pants and I love mine even at 33w now. 🙂

Here are a few of my photos. most people couldn’t tell until I about 28ws. I think those that try and say the have a bump before 16-20w are either really bloated or pushing out as the uterus is only just getting out of the pelvic bone by then. So don’t worry about not showing yet. 🙂

@lovemygsp:   With all respect that is not entirely true. I’m nearly 18 weeks and my uterus is now just about at my belly button. Different bodies change differently during pregnancy, there’s no right or wrong.

@lovemygsp:  i agree with @Wellington Bride:  everyone’s body is different, and pregnancy changes it differently for each of us. I’ve seen plenty of women, particularly those with short torsos, who have a solid bump before 20 weeks. Even some tall, long-waisted women show early.

As for me, I truly have no bump yet, just bloat. 🙂

With my last pregnancy I figured I’d show super early because I’m pretty small, but my core muscles held that sucker in forEVER.   I’d say even at 27 weeks if I wasn’t wearing something tight you couldn’t REALLY tell.

The two last photos are from the third tri, but that’s only because that’s when I started showing for real.    I have a prettly proportionnate body, I don’t have a short torso or anything, and I’ve just about average height, almost 5’4″.

@kenziemt:  I’m 23 weeks and no strangers have said anything to me about me being pregnant. Not even neighbors I know that don’t know I’m pregnant yet. I think some of it is sweaters and coats when i’m out and about. It’s a remarkable difference if the sweater or shirt are ‘pulling’ between my boobs and bump (thus making me just look like a barrel) or if I press the shirt under my boobs so you can really see the profile. I def have a bump when I’m at home in a tight tshirt. but untill you are just really pushed out there in winter wear it is hard to tell.
