For the longest time I wanted an all lace dress and sleeves. I thought the lace was classicly beautiful and the sleeves were something different. I also wanted a dropped waist for a somewhat fitted A-line/fit and flare.

I ended up with a dress that is a full A-line, not a stitch of lace, super blinged out strapless bodice, and a textured skirt. I don’t regret my decision one bit! At first when i saw the gorgeous lace dresses on the bee, I had a bit of envy but that has since disappeared and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

This is my dress…

BTW, your dress is beautiful. It reminds me of the Tara Keely 2200 gown by Lazaro

@nearly-mrs-R:  Add red accents…red shoes, ruby jewelry, or you could even buy red tulle and make yourself a red veil.  Possibilities are endless!

I thought I didn’t want strapless but ended up with strapless, I’m sure that’s a common one since there are SO many more choices in strapless.  I still halfway wish I had stuck to my guns about that but the wedding is soon so who cares 🙂  At the end I will be married!

@nearly-mrs-R:  Your dress is beautiful.  What about a red sash at the waistline?  Or if you wanted to go further you could wear some red gloves like your photo.  Ooo or red fishnet stocking…ok stop me if I’m going overboard 🙂  Be sure to post photos when your whole look is put together, sounds like it’ll be killer.

Is there anyway you could swing it so that you could wear both gowns on your wedding day? My reason was cultural, but I also wore a red dress that day!

@pengoala:  Yup, was gonna suggest this too! I really love red and will have the option of wearing a red gown during our reception as part of Chinese tradition – if I were you, I would work in a red dress after your ceremony.

@nearly-mrs-R:  Yup! If you can afford it, I think it would be an excellent way to enter your reception! :). Happy planning, let us know what you decide!

My original dress was an Allure dress covered in flowers (my mom and sister LOVED it, I liked it best of the ones I tried on that day….. but REALLY started to hate it!) I had major regret, so I went back with four months to go until my wedding and fell in love with an AMAZING pronovias gown. I’m so happy I bought my 2nd dress; I started having nightmares about my first one!

@IzzyBear:  My friend who got married last weekend wanted an all lace gown and chose the exact dress that you chose. It’s Ezoani right? Same exact situation. Too funny!
