Be honest! I’ve been checking my Macys registry whenever it pops into my mind and logged on today to see that my NUMBER 1 item that I wanted the most was the first to be purchased! The Kitchen Aid 5 qt stand mixer in red!! 🙂 I was a bit shocked because my wedding is still 5 months away not to mention the spendy price of the item. I feel so grateful!

I check it everytime I get online. My #1 item was purchased first, also! A Kerig! I honestly don’t care if we get anything else I just wanted that haha!!

I check it all the time…I have my registries linked to my wedding website and I can see what people have purchased almost instantly.

I was checking it until my sister called and told me to stop! Ugh… she must have just known or something.
I was delighted to see my #1 gift was purchased – a pair of crystal candlesticks that are so heavy, they double as weapons.

Had to respond, as the first item purchased on our registry was also the red Kitchenaid – and was the number one thing I really hoped to get! I’ve used it a bunch already and really love it 😀

ohhh yes. I was pretty bad! The weekend before the wedding I stopped just because there wasn’t time to look

Alllllll the time. Our wedding isn’t until October so not much has been purchased but we did get our number 1 gift of the KitchenAid mixer as well (only ours is green!)

I like to be surprised so I limit myself to checking how many items have been purchased rather seeing what specific items have been bought. It’s so hard not to check but I like getting to open gifts that are shipped to us with FI and having both of us be suprised by the gift and who gave it.

I checked too! Somethings were funny because at certain stores I think they put everything purchased at the same time with your gift(s) as being bought for you. So I had some things where it said “Asked for 0, Got 2” and it would be something like a screwdriver and some seasoning salt. Haha. Also, someone mistakenly purchsed a ring dish that said Mrs. and Mrs. instead of Mr. and Mrs. for us which showed up on the registry but they never gave it to me so they must have caught their mistake.

I check all the time, mostly because things become unavailable and also… I’m a month out now and ours has gotten low, so we’ve had to add some things so that there is some choice! It’s fun!

I checked it so much but it was obviously to make sure we weren’t running out of affordable items before the shower 😉

lexie1114: that’s the number 1 thing on my list too. unfortunately it has not been purchased. I do check my regustries. not all the time but whenever it pops in my head. I’m kind of surprised we are 16 days out and only one thing was bought after the bridal shower (that was 2 months ago). this reminded me to check again lol

I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one! Lol its just too easily accessible and tempting! I like what @LibrarianBride does though where she just checks to see how many gifts have been purchased instead of what has been purchased. Still makes it exciting but doesn’t take away the suprise 🙂

I plan on doing that,a s they (who is they, anyway!?) say to check it frequently in case more things would need to be added.
We registered at 3 places, and one of them allows notifications via text when items are purchased, so that will be fun. That place we mainly did towels and bedding but still. It’s needed stuff!
It will be interesting to see who actually buys the items, though. I am pretty sure my parents are getting me a KitchenAid mixer (it’s always been #1 on my list), but I put registered for one anyway so it was out there.
