I am looking for a cheap alternative to fresh rose petals for my flower girl to toss. As I was browsing the internet, I came across freeze-dried petals and preserved flowers at save-on-crafts. I was wondering if anyone else has done this before. I’m thinking of getting them because they can be bought way ahead of time and seem cheaper to me. So my questions are:
Are freeze-dried rose petals actually cheaper?
Will they really stay preserved for six months or more, or will they wilt?
Do they look good? Or like crappy rose petals?
Any thoughts on preserved flowers?
If I get freeze-dried rose petals, I may scatter them across the tables for the reception and I’m definitely thinking of using preserved flowers for centerpieces. I guess I just want to know if I’m actually saving money and if they will look good or if they will look cheap. Thanks!
