Anyone do Pure Barre?

I LOVE PURE BARRE. It is awesome, goes fast, and you will feel the burn fo sho. Yes buy the socks. Woohoo! Go you

I LOVE Pure Barre.  You will need the socks but they sell them there and their PB socks are a great deal.

I’ve been going for two years whenever I get the chance and it has done amazing things to lean out my body and make me compact but toned.

Yep I do it and love it! Grippy socks definitely help but are not required.  To answer your question, I love it! If I consistently go to 3+ classes a week I notice my arms are more toned and my stomach has actual definition!

 

I don’t think it’s a replacement for cardio but I love bar class for toning and “me” time – no phones allowed!

Looks fun and they have a studio opening close. It’s just way out of my price range.

I don’t do pure barre but I do Dailey Method – I love it! I think all of those classes are fairly similar but I know they can also feel drastically different. I did Bar Method for a couple visits and hated it, but I love Dailey! I wish I had pure barre by me!

OMGMrsW2B: love pure barre. Embrace the shake. Try it for 3x / week for a few weeks to see the difference. And use light weights 🙂

Barre class is awesome! It’s a great workout. Be prepared! It’s HARD! After my first class my legs were jelly lol.

That’s awesome that you took the time to do that for yourself and are going to stick with it!<br /><br />It’s a great workout!  If your studio is anything like the ones I attend, you can usually wait for their monthly newsletter to come out before you purchase another class pack.  They seem to always be running specials on some class package or another.

It was so so so hard but a GREAT workout. The lady asked me if I was a dancer due to my good balance, to which I responded by promptly losing my balance and faceplanting. It was quite a sight. And to her question, nope. Never a dancer. Ah well.

OMGMrsW2B:  I’ve been told to rest between toning workouts too, but going again tomorrow would be within that range. If you want to go, you should 😉

I’ve really wanted to try Pure Barre for a while because I’ve only heard good things about it. I’m a little intimidated because I’ve never had ballet experience though. Besides the burn, what did you think?
