I'm doing it too. On Monday and Tues, I worked out at the gym in the morning and then did 30 Day Shred in the afternoon. I was crippled yesterday and took the day off, but I'll be back at it today. I'd love company!
I have 8 months until my wedding and want to lose about 10-15 pounds and tone up. I've been doing ww and the elliptical but decided to add the shred to my daily routine.
I did level one for the first time yesterday and it totally kicked my butt!!! I'll definitely keep you company through the month of November. It's going to be a tough month for me (I'm traveling for work next week), I can use the motivation!
I did the shred in September, but then the weather got cold and I used that as an excuse to stop. I think I should force myself to start up again though, especially before thanksgiving!

I have school after work today, so I probably won't get home until 10pm...hopefully I can muster up enough energy to bust out 20 minutes!
I have been mixing the shred into my daily work out. I have just over 6 months and about 20 pounds to get rid of. I've been running, using the Shred and also Jillian's other DVD, No More Trouble Zones. I try to do the Shred on the days that I run, since it's shorter than NO More Trouble Zones.
I've been at it for just over two weeks, but Sunday I got sick and haven't worked out since. Hopefully by this weekend I'll be back at it.
Both the workouts are brutal. Much harder than I ever expected.
I Started a week or 2 ago!! I have about 30 pounds or so to lose. It's tough at first. It's still a little hard even now!!
I'm seeing a lot of boards dedicated to the 30 day shred. Excuse my ignorance, but what is it??
It's a work out video done by Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. You can google it & go to Amazon for information about it. It's about 20 minutes long & there's 3 different levels.
Does it actually work?? I have seen way too many pointless workout videos
I just got done with my 2nd day and my shoulders kill me. My goal is to go the whole time doing real pushups before moving on to level 2
Ireland - good for you!! I'm practically crying eeking out my little girlie knee pushups.
I've been doing the Shred 3ish times per week for the last couple of months mixed in with my regular (or not-so-regular) cardio, and I feel great! I just started doing level 3 earlier this week, and that workout is *HARD*... but I LOVE it. @Ireland -- I still can't do real pushups in level 1 for the full amount of time, but luckily she doesn't make you do that in level 2 or 3. Maybe I should make the pushups be my goal too...
@lka081 - I'm still doing my girlie push ups and getting rug burns on my knees just is the cherry on top haha
@skibobrown - Thank goodness for the deletion of push ups. The side lunges with the arm raises really kill my shoulders too. I start shaking after like 5

I am a little ahead - I did it for October but working really long days made me stop last week and now I am sick :-(
I have finished Day 18 so I have two more days of Level 2 and then I will start Level 3. So hopefully I will be better soon and I will join you guys for some shredding!
I just started it 2 days ago...its a nice challenge, and I like that the workouts are only 20 min long...just enough!
30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels?? It works!! I've done it in the past. From the way she works, you can almost lose weight just watching her yell at all of the contestants on the Biggest Loser! Haha.
I just hate the push ups! I'm so bad at them!! I'm glad to hear they're out of the other levels. That first circuit is so hard!! haha. But at least the harder circuit is first, not last!

. I haven't worked out in so long, and I need to get myself going again. Once you start you kind of fall into the rhythm, but once you stop it's just soooo hard to get your butt off that couch again. And I want to start shopping for my dress in January so thanks for the inspiration ladies!

Me too!! I just got the complete DVD on sale for $9.99 @ http://exercisetv.tv/ and I am downloading it to my computer as we speak! yeaaahhh! 
I did the 30 day shred today for the first time. Wow..what a great workout. I'll do my best to do this 30 days straight..especially important that we're now in the season of lots of food!
So if things go well I'll be doing the 30 day shred every day this month, and doing some cardio maybe 4x a week in addition.
We'll see how this turns out in the beginning of December!

I'm doing it! My wedding is exactly 30 days from today, so today is day 1! I've got about 5 more pounds to lose, and I want to tone up all over... we'll see how it goes!

I just started it today!! ya it is a killer workout..iam soo out of shape.. it is sad :-( and since iam soo out of shape.. I am gonna do level 1 for 30days and then level 2 for 30 days and then level 3 for 30 days.. that will bring me too jan and hopefully with some weight lose!! Iam also doing aqua fit 2 nights a week.. so we will see !!

OK I didn't get home from school until 10pm, so I didn't get to Shred. BUT as soon as I get home tonight I'm getting on that mat!! maybe I'll do another dvd too to make up for last night (and the biggest spoonful of Haggen Daaz Bailey's ice cream you're ever seen). yoga or light cardio?
Just got the DVDs last night and started today, feel great so far!!! How is everyone else doing?????
I'm really liking the setup of 3 mins of strength, 2 mins of cardio, 1 min of abs and then back around for 2 more circuits. It's nice to have it broken up so I don't get as bored. ;)
I will definitely keep you company. I have done the shred intermittantly in the past... not good at keeping up with exercise routines, but I just started the bender ball (cuz let's face it, my abs are the worst...) and I really like it, so I will be alternating the two methods. My wedding is in less than two months.... ack! So, I'm trying to be really committed to losing at least some of the 20 lbs I have gained in the last year.
I'm alternating between levels 1 & 2 now! Next week I'll go all the way to level 2!! I've been doing it for about a month-but everyday the last week 1/2 or so.
Keep it up guys! I'm already noticing my abs-you can feel the muscle!
I'm thinking about moving up to level 2 tonight, but maybe instead I should wait till the side lunges with the arm raises don't make me want to cheat. ^_^
I've been doing pretty well with this but the worst is getting myself to work out on the weekend. It just doesn't happen. :P
In other news, Mr Spin is doing it with me! Our goal--keep with it like crazy for November, I keep with it on my own during December while he's in Nowhere, Nebraska for a rotation, and then in January when he comes back here for another rotation, we do it together again and I blow him out of the water with my mad muscles. ^_^
Oh, I know I posted this on another 30 Day Shred board, but does anyone follow her website and her diet? If so, what do you think?
I don't follow any eating plan. I find that if I get on anything too strict I rebel and eat ice cream straight from the freezer, with a serving spoon. I just have a quota that I have to hit everyday: 2 fruits, at least 4 servings of veggies (preferably different colors), 2 servings of dairy, some form of protein with every meal and mostly whole grains. I find that if I hit all those I either 1. feel so good about myself that I don't want to mess it up or 2. am so full I can't eat much more.
How are we doing with this November shredders?
I am on day 7 tomorrow. I must say my arms are already looking much better. I can't wait to move onto level 2 next week!
I just ordered this online! I recently gained back 10lbs that I had lost and am looking for help. I have lost my motivation for some reason..I would love to hear some success stories with this dvd.
I am starting to shop for my dress in a month so I really want to loose some more weight and start to feel great again.

I can't seem to get past the pushups and side lunges in Level 1! I can do "girl" pushups the first set but the second I can only do about 5 and then my arms start shaking and I collapse. The side lunges with the arm raises...forget about it. My arms feel like Jello at this point. I can do about 5 and then I have to drop the weights...and sad to say doing them without the weights still makes my arms tired.
I will normally do a 30 day shred workout and then do a Gilad Bodies in Motion or Total Body Sculpt workout right afterward (DVRed from Fitness channel). I think doing the Gilad workout afterward gives me some confidence that I'm not totally out of shape after doing Jillians workout.
Does anyone else hate it when she goes "very funny guys" to the girls behind her and they weren't even saying anything. For some reason that point always annoys me and I yell at the tv. :)

I've gained about 20 pounds after the wedding, Thanksgiving (aka eating season) is coming up and I have a wedding to go to in December with a bunch of high school friends so I have lots of reasons to keep at it!
I did Day 3 last night and I'm still sore. Anyone to keep me company?? =)
