We are going to do a wine box ceremony and *maybe* a ring warming... but we will have about 150+ guests so, I've heard that it takes too long for the rings to circulate and the guests aren't done with them by the time we would need them back with that many guests.

I was totally thinking about doing a ring warming. A Bee wrote about a chocolate & wine tasting which I thought was cute. Any excuse to eat chocolate is fine by me!
We did the ring warming. We didn't have time for every guest to give their blessing, so the rings only went to our parents, grandparents, and wedding party. It was a very special time during the ceremony. (I couldn't resist posting a pic of our ring bearers passing the rings to my parents).
@spaganya - Please share more about the truce bell. My hubby and I may need one of those!
We did a coin (arras) ceremony. It is a Spanish/Mexican/Phillipino tradition.
My mom is from Spain so we wanted to incorporate some of her traditions. We used the same coins from her wedding to my father and kept them inside an antique silver coin purse that belonged to her grandmother.
Here is a link to a description of the symbolism.

And a picture where we are passing them back and forth to each other. You can kind of see the coin purse.
@melisslp: its awesome - irish tradition. comes from St. Patrick and his famous bell - basically the bell should be rang during your ceremony to mark the occasion - then later you display it in your home, and should there ever be a fight, one of you can ring the bell and it will signify the love and good feelings the wedding brought and you call a truce on the fight. its super cute. its supposed to remind you why you got married in the first place.
We're probably going to do the ring warming ceremony. It sounded like it'd be nice and special and with only around twenty to thirty guests it shouldn't be hard.

sand ceremony, tree planting, broom jumping, unity candles, etc. ?
We've decided to do a ring warming but I'm interested in doing more/hearing about more. :) Maybe having the guests stand around us in a circle during the ceremony?
