Hmm, do you have pictures of your dress/the ones you'd like to imitate.
I'm getting color added to my skirt (seamstress, not DIY) and I'm making my own belt, but your undertaking is quite a bit more. Maybe talk to a seasmstress and a get a quote on having that done. Then you'll be able to see if its within your abilities or not.

I have a very simple, off white, strapless, A line, tea length dress that I bought for 35 bucks at Macys. The bust has a lace overlay.
I really love those dresses with the big organza flowers on the bottom and am thinking about doing some DIY to my dress. I don't think the organza flower will really match but maybe some lace version...not sure.
Anyone have examples of wedding dress DIY??
