I went to one and it was beautiful.  The colors were rust, peach , and grey.  she wore a birdcage veil and carried a brooch bouquet.  the place cards were hanging on a tree by what looked liked an old key.  the brooch bouquet she bought($$$$) but i fell in love with it so I am going to try to make it this weekend for my wedding in june

We are leaning towards rustic chic. I love the chalk board ideas

I am! I don’t have pictures of many of my projects but we are distressing picture frames, using vintage ball jars for centerpeices, drinking out of regular pink mason jars, making chalkboards out of silver serving platters, using vintage doors as table assignments. Making lots of bunting from vintage fabrics and burlap, burlap ruffle table runners, walnut logs for centerpieces to sit on. Ribbon wands, wish tree with ball jar tags for them to write on. I have so many! I will try to take pictures of most of the projects to post them!

We are doing a Vintage Fall theme. Im doing a birdcage veil, red lip, winged eye, 40s updo, and a mermaid gown. My colors are dark brown, ivory, and dark red with some accents of dark yellow and deep orange. I have lace accents, pearls and skeleton keys in my decor and invitations. Gotta love the chalkboard paint which Im doing for candy buffet signs, mr and mrs signs and thank you signs.

My current plan for centerpieces is to get clear mason jars and “stain” them a light blue green (think old coke bottle) and put mustard/gold yellow flowers (billy buttons) and pussy willows in them.  Maybe tie some lace and twine/hemp around them.  My sister has seen on Pinterest where you can modge podge a jar/vase and put epsom salts on it to make it look textured.  May do this with small clear jars and put fake tea lights in them. Real candles worry me too much =)

Real vintage blue mason jars are so expensive so check out the link for how to make them yourself!
