Christmas vacation was fun (I got marrrrrrieddd!!) But now that the planning is over all i have to do is work at a job i hate and paint a house i love. painting is exhausting!!

So now school is starting and im excited to be at work a little less... paint a little less... try to pawn it off on the hubs after i have picked out the paint. And then start school again to get me on the path to a new non-crappy job.

    Cannot wait to finish school!!!!

Haha I know what you mean!  I was excited to go back tonight because I was getting kind of bored from being home the past month.  But after one day I'm already feeling a little ugh about it haha.

Yep, I'll admit it! I have a week of break left and I'm getting a lil stir crazy, haha. Plus next semester will be my LAST of undergrad. I'm ready to finish. So, so ready.

I've already started some of my readings! This was for an online class in order to focus on my hellish legal writing class

Not at all. It's my last semester, but I'm taking two finance classes and two Poli sci ones. They are so boring! UGH!

Also, my school started wayyyy early--last wednesday--so i'm already sick of it.

I guess I am excited to get it over but working full time, going to school full time, and planning a wedding is not fun. I would much rather spend time of the bee instead of writing papers.

Come to think of it, that is what I'm been doing :)

haha so have I ..this site was my therapy last sem. I had a horrible History seminar class, which was my last course for my major and it was about soccer of all things. I love soccer, but the man killed us with readings and a beautiful 15-20 page paper on a particular soccer team and it's social implications least I passed the course with flying colors ha

I am I missed school. Lol, I'm REALLY overwhelmed now because we're going over syllabuses and I'm just like :-0. I'm taking 5 classes 2 Auditing classes, 1 Financial Reporting, 1 Business strategic management, 1 Business 395 (forgot the title). I'm done after this semester...YAY! I'm also doing full time work, but I'm going to cut back to 36 hours otherwise I might end up in a psych ward.

I'm torn. I'm so ready for the wedding, and that can't happen until graduation, so a big part of me is ready to start the semester -- sooner it starts, sooner its over! But I have also really enjoyed my break, spending time with family and wedding planning, and I don't feel nearly ready to go back!

I am personally not excited. Not in the least. However, FI is giddy as a...well...school boy. Heh.

I always used to get so stir crazy in the weeks before school went back. I finished my degree in September of last year and in a few weeks I'm going to be starting my first teaching job as a Kinder/1st grade teacher - so yeah, I'm excited to start school!!!

    ME!

How sick am I? LOL. I'm more excited about school now because I feel like it's leading me somewhere. I've got microbiology, microbiology lab, and medical terminology this semester (yep, 9 credits while working 40 hours/week. Yikes! Good thing the university i'm taking classes isn't as tough of a school as i'm familiar with! Oh and it's a SOPHOMORE class....yay me?), a summer of anatomy/physiology I and an EMT course, and fall is the last semester of A&P. YIKES

We're talking about going on a vacation in January 2011 now =]

I'm a part-time professor at a Community College and I have to admit -- I get excited about a new semester as if I was a student, too!  (I'm also psyched about the extra money every month from teaching -- it's all going to the wedding, woot!)

Me! After much debate, I am going back to school for nursing. (already have a bachelors in journalism) Won't be able to start real nursing school 'til fall of '11...until then I'm taking prereq classes at night while I work...Bio 101 starts tomorrow. Which really is BS, because I took it in college and got a B, but I have to retake because it's been more then 5 years. UGH! But still soooooo excited that I'm getting started on this! And it def. helps me deal with people's crap at work better, because I know I'm working on getting out of here! Laughing

I'm still so glad that I'm done with the tests essays and assignment of school.  But I really miss going to class and the learning.  I went to a conference recently and it was so fun to learn and hear what is the newest research in the field.

Aren't you glad to just have school and no wedding planning to deal with on top of it?

I always get excited to go back to school toward the end of long vacations. I miss being right across the hall from my friends. I don't know what I'm going to do next year when we're not all together anymore. I'm in my last semester of undergrad, and I'm going to be student teaching! (kinda nervous, but wicked excited!)

...so sad that this is my last semester, but also so excited for 'the real world.' College really is a little dream world, isn't it?

    @KMSull -- I miss school too! I thought I was sick or something. :)

Just finished my masters in August and I'm already considering certificate programs or language courses. I don't miss the papers or tests (like @duckling) but I definitely miss a learning environment -- ideas, discussions, etc. FI is still in school for his masters, so I suppose I'll live vicariously? I used to get so excited for the school supplies. Lol!

I am looking forward to it. This past year I was in school for my Master's, and I hated it soooo much. I worked 10 hours in an assistanceship, I worked 20-25 hours as a cashier, and I took 9-12 credits. But I hated my classes. They were dumb and boring and horrible.

This semester, I will be working 10 hours on campus still but in a different capacity -- a professor contacted me and asked if I'd like to tutor for two of his classes. I am really excited because this is the field I want to go into, and it is great experience that I put on my grad applications. I will be taking more classes -- 15 credits -- but they are ALL classes in my field, so again, I am really looking forward to that as well. I also cut back my hours as a cashier to 15, so it should be much more manageable. All in all, I am a perpetual student, and while school times can be frazzling, it is usually just because I have too much going on at once. I love being in class and learning. I guess that's why I am on my second BA, have a Master's, and have applied to start a PhD program in the fall. Fingers crossed; waiting to hear back now is the hardest thing ever.
