My fiance doesn't have straight hours which kind of sucks. Tonight he works until nine which isn't too late compared to some of his nights.
When I'm home alone I sit on weddingbee, watch movies, clean, ect. You could always go out with a girlfriend?
that sucks about the irregular hours! we're lucky that we both work standard 9-5s...
i only moved to ottawa 3 months a go and have really only 1 good friend here, and she's busy!! i usually hang out with her when FI has something else going on... i'm going to have to expand my social cirlcle haha
I'm alone, for the first time in a while. Sports games started back up and for now I'm enjoying it. I like having the place to myself for a while, but I've gotten freaked out about being alone at night ever since we moved into our new house.
I've been watching girly movies I get from Netflix and usually watch alone, I'll also usually call my mom or a friend. And spend time online... of course. Tonight - Project Runway!
i'm here alone too. he gets off work in 28 minutes but he has to go directly to his nightclub. i probably won't see him until after midnight or so... sigh
bah, FI is in Dallas for the summer, so I've been alone most of the summer...I usually watch tv and am on weddingbee/try to plan wedding stuff...but I'm bored of being by myself, want FI back!
Yup! But I spend a lot of nights alone...Fi is a surgery resident and works lots of overnight shifts. 
Am packing up our apt so we can move to our new home this weekend!
ooo! packing is an excellent way to pass time! i went to walmart and got a snack and now i am parked in front of the tv and the laptop :)
Fiance has been in another state (for military reasons) for almost a year. I spent 2 months with him over the summer and now being alone just sucks. I mostly busy myself with wedding researching and planning and attempting preliminary DIY projects.
OOOO this is me all night every night!!!
My day:
Work
Gym
Make dinner (and extras for lunch)
by now it's like 730
Pack lunch, put away lunch dishes and tupperware
Shower, watch tv, weddingbee, flip through a magazine, read a book
clean, take care of my cats
bed by 1030
My schedule is pretty much like EJS's. Joys of being with someone in the military haha (sarcasm by the way).
I'm right there with you bees! My FI and I schedules are opposite usually. I usually find myself reading, taking the dog for a walk, going to the gym, watching movies (which is currently what I am doing :) ), cleaning, laundry (blah!!) and wedding planning of course!
Most of my girlfriends are with their boyfriends or have opposite schedules as well. My mom lives about an hour away, so I sometimes find myself hanging out with my FI's mom, who loves to watch chick flicks with me.
I'm not alone, but I might as well be. :p
He's trying to beat a video game. He'll be done soon, apparently. (He said that an hour ago, too). Silly boy. :)
While I was packing, I drank a beer and had Definitely Maybe on in the background. Definitely Maybe a terrible movie, but I still cried!
Yep. Monday through Friday. But he'll be here for the weekend - yay!
Oh the joys of living on one place for 5 years....I just threw away
boxes of mac n cheese that were in the back of the cupboard that
expired in.....June 2007. Oops!
haha erindesmar! That happened to me too when I decided our cupboards were getting out of control. Ours were expired (by about a year) muffin mix...oops. Glad we didn't eat it!
Football season is here , so i have lost him to that....which means i am alone ..but i like to read my romance books ( which he calls Porn for woman ..lol ) ..or wedding magazines ..or just write ......I know some would differ with me on this, but really i like to have time away from hubby....i'm very independent , and although i love him...he drives me up the wall and onto the other side ..So i am a firm believer , in Absents makes the heart grow fonder :)..
I am too, but I'm pretty okay with it. I really like having some time to myself. Plus, my guy and I don't live together yet so I'm pretty used to it! I just hang out, surf the web, watch tv, the usual!
Not alone, but waiting for friends to come over for dinner. We're cooking pork tenderloin with apricot jus, baked potatoes, spinich and complementing it with strawberry lemonade, gin, and ginger spritzers. So refreshing!
Now if the company will just get here :)
Me too. My fiance is at a rodeo in Idaho. I'm supposed to be packing for this weekend - my bridal shower is on Saturday but I just found out this afternoon that two of my four bridesmaids can't make it plus another good friend I was looking forward to seeing probably won't be there either. I'm trying to stay positive and think about how much fun I'm going to have with my family but that sucked some of the joy out of getting ready. So I'm in bed Netflixing instead. :-)
Mrs DG - that sounds so yummy!! Wish I could come for dinner!
Mine is kind of sick with a bug today, so he's resting. I'm BORED + pms'ing ... I wish he was up for a pizza party ;)
My FI's family has been in town for the last week and tonight's their last night here (before the wedding) so he's over at his aunt & uncle's house right now. I've been sick as a dog for the past couple days with a nasty cold so I stayed home to veg on the couch in my sweats and kleenex box nearby. *sigh*
FI and I have only been apart for like 4 nights total in our whole relationship so it's always hard for me when I'm alone, at least at night. And we live in the country and I'm always afraid when I hear something outside!
K and I work completely different shift so I'm alone all through the week, but on the weekends we spend as much quality time together as possible. To make it easier through the week we have scheduled calling times during the day and we have unlimited texting so it feels like we are always talking to one another. On week nights alone I usually read a good book, catch up on my shows, facebook, and now I've become obsessed with weddingbee.
Loverboy and I work completely different hours. Mine are pretty regular (M-F 9-6) but his are OFF THE WALL! And weeks I work weekends I get two days off during the week which stink! They're always the days Loverboy ends up working 12 hours+. And I don't know what to do with myself sometimes. Haha. Nothing seems to really fulfill me. Guess I better get used to it though, he'll be in the army soon and I'll very rarely see him, then.
The boy is at work like most nights!
So i am wedding beeing, tving and flipping through a wedding magazine!
college just started for me and my fi the only problem is is he goes to college 3 hours away so i only see him on weekends when he comes home from work. With the down time i try to get girl time in with the besties, get online read, do homework keep busy i miss him so much when he is gone.

just happened upon this post again! i'm not alone tonight but i am preparing for some lonlieness as the boy will be starting classes on sundays (for his CA, or CPA in the US)... so i started a blog!! i am not the best at creative writing but i figured i would give it a shot. check it out if you're bored :)

anyone? my FI and i moved in together about 3 months a go and i don't think i have really had a night alone since then, which i love! he's out "patching things up" with a friend that i really can't stand... ugh.
what does everyone do when they get some alone time?
