AWWWWW. I tell my “kids” it’s their birthday and be sure I have ice cream or something on hand for an extra special treat. I tried to get kitty treats, but all they want is ice cream, cool whip, and sour cream.

Both of my kitties are from the shelter so I have no idea when they were born.  I got Liza in early January and they figured she was about 8 months old, so we celebrate her “birthday” with mine, which is in April.

We got Maude on Thanksgiving weekend and they thought she was about a year old, so we will celebrate her birthday when we get back the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

We just give them a special little treat or toy and say “happy birthday” while they stare at us like we are weirdos ;o)

My dog (actually fi’s, but mine too now) is my baby. there’s nothing wrong with celebrating birthdays, and singing to him in the morning! i like to think he enjoys my singing.

Haha we sorta do, we tell her we are going to make her a puperroni cake but in reality we give her like two sticks all at once which is a big deal for her πŸ™‚  I dont think your crazy, its cute and hey any reason to celebrate!

Aww, adorable! Our cats are shelter cats, so we’re not exactly sure of their birthdays. I celebrate Charlie’s birthday on the date that the shelter put down 6/2, and we celebrate Quincy’s on the day I adopted him, 7/14. All we do to celebrate is say “Happy Birthday!” and maybe give them a treat. My in-laws dog shares the same birthday as me!

We celebrate our Maggie’s birthday every year while on vacation!  It’s a mini cake for her and big frosted bones for her friends!

That picture is adorable! My baby would not ever let me put a hat on him, he hates when DH wears a baseball hat that he takes it and tries to chew it up! Something about hats! But yes! We celebrate! Our dog is like our first child to us, he is spoiled rotten and sure acts like a kid sometimes especially now because he is 2 yo (almost–10/29/09). We take him to Dairy Queen and give him bad food for the day too. Last year I bought him a snazzy new collar and a 26″ bone that he loved!

That picture is TOO CUTE. πŸ™‚ I don’t have any pets yet (boo!) but my boss actually goes to a birthday party every year for all the dogs in his dog’s litter, hosted by the breeder. He says he thinks it’s ridiculous and he only does it because his wife makes him… but I think he totally enjoys it. πŸ˜‰

I do, but not their birthday, more their adoption/found day, I tell them that’s their birthday and usually make them some special treats. My dog gets to go out shopping for her presents and we usually come home and try them all out. The kitties are a little harder, we’ll get them some treats and some toys but they love paper balls the best. I take it even a step further and they all have Christmas stockings. Yes the stockings are filled, and yes they have to wait until Christmas day to “open” their presents!
