No, but my sister and I used to date a couple of brothers. That went on for three years until younger brother and I broke up, but older brother is about to become my brother in law!
I'm marrying my brother's close friend. We actually got to know each other when he came to my house without calling ahead then decided I was a suitable substitute when he discovered my brother wasn't at home. Very definition of a cradle robber, haha.
My best friend dated my brother - they were each other's first loves. It was super awkward for me at first, but eventually I accepted it. Unfortunately, they broke up 8 years ago and have since moved on, but every time one/both of them is single, my family discusses how to get them back together. It's hilarious.
My closest cousin and my husband's brother met at our wedding and have been dating for almost 6 months now. I have thought for years that they would be perfect together and we love that they're an item!
I am in a very loving relationship with my SO who is also my friends big brother. haha I never would have thought we would end up an actual couple, but we are more in love now than we have ever been. He is the up to my down, the left to my right, the yes to my Lawd!!! I really love him and thank God for him constantly.
Wedding bells are a ringing.... hopefully soon I will be asking the ladies to cross me off the list as well..... because I will be engaged and soon married. YAY!
@cbgg: Wow, how neat he is about to be your brother in law now! wow, its weird how some things work out. Congrats to your sis and her almost hubby!
@GreenDream: Aw, Congrats on marrying your brothers close friend. Soon I will be marrying my close friends brother. Who ever woulda thought? But Girl are we happy!!! He is my rock and I love him dearly.
@Miss OBG: Who knows, if they are meant to be... set up by God... they will end up together... but if someone else comes along the fam has to cut that out!!!! :)
@thistleandclovers: Aw, that is like a story on television. You guys were getting married and spreaded the love to others.. who knows what it will lead to. Congrats
My SIL was my friend before she met my brother. We were friends all through high school and he was off at college. When we were freshmen at college everyone was home and at our house for new years so they met. It's great having someone you already know and like as a SIL.
Yep! I'm gearing up to marry him next May:) I got placed with his sister in the dorms in my freshman year of college. We hung out all summer, then I met him...and the rest is history:)
@artbee: Aw, that is how my future SIL feels. Like, it is good already knowing what type of person I am and that I will love her brother. Its amazing that we had a chance to learn one another before he and I became a couple. So, she knows I am genuine and love him dearly....
My fiance is actually the older brother of my good friend from when I was younger. He is also my brother's friend. Think they all thought it was weird at first!
My husband is one of my closes ex friends brother in law. She was my best friend and when she was engaged she told me I had to meet her brother in law when he came to visit. We met and it all fell into place right away and we had a long distance relationship for about 6 months and then I moved to be with him. She wasn't so happy that we worked and had only wanted us to be a fling. She has not talked to me in 3 years (not even at our wedding).
Happy you guys still have the friend in the equation.
I almost dated my best friend's husband's twin (I'm friends with the husband too)! However, I ended up with the twin's roommate instead. It would've been awesome ending up with the same last name as my friend!
@Nola: That sucks, you would think she would be happy that you are now going to be part of the family.
I didn't meet my husband in that way, but now i am really good friends with his sister
@Nola: Wow that is horrible for her to take your relationship that way. My NOW fiance's sister and I am still close friends. Neither of us have sisters so its even more of a blessing that once we are married we will be sisters for life. yay! I am so happy
aww, my brother hangs out with a few of my high school friends who are single but he's never dated any of them. Secretly, I hope he will break up with his girlfriend and get together with one of my friends who I would love to have as a SIL. In reality, he's been with his current girlferiend for about 4 years so I don't think thatS' going to happen but I'm jealous of all of you who have friends as SILs!
My brother keeps begging to date one of my friends. He's four years younger than us and while I love her.. she can be a little nutty.

My friend and I have been two peas in a pod since we met back in college. Now we are still very good friends. Not long ago her brother and myself fell madly in love and he is the man of my dreams and he says I am the answer to his prayers. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Do tell...
