DH and I said if we didn’t get KU in 6 months we’d take a break and take an AMAZING vacation!

@QueenGee87:  We aren’t actively trying yet (well we tried in June and then had to go back to TTA), but I just wanted to say “I’m sorry.” While I’m not there right now, I have a pretty good idea of how hard a long TTC journey is.

I think it’s absolutely ok to take a break. I’m a bit of a control freak nutjob, so I think it would be really difficult for me to know it was the FW and NOT want to BD, but if you can do it and it helps you, absolutely stop “trying.”

*hugs*

We “accidentally” didn’t try this month. Between doctors appointments, visitors, Halloween, work and just plain not being in the mood we missed the window this cycle. I don’t even feel bad about it. We’ll try next month again, but it was kind of nice to take a break. (This would have been our 7th cycle ttc)

We didn’t give up. But I’ve thought about it. It breaks my heart each month AF shows her ugly face!

This month (our 5th cycle) I definitely have been more laid back about it. Not fretting if we don’t get good BD time in. Basically I told him my fertile window week and said we can try to BD during that time if the mood strikes. Not really using OPKs as I should. I did a few, but not on consistent days or 2x a day like I should. Just more relaxed.

We did.  I was temping, charting, taking so many tests when my hopes were up each month!  It was heartbreaking.  So, I stopped all that and we just had sex when we felt like it.  After a few months, we felt like we could deal with trying to time it with ovulation again.  I’m not temping again at this point.  We’ll see how it goes taking a more relaxed approach and might get more focused if we’re unsuccesful.  I’m over 35 so we can’t be too relaxed for too long if we have difficulty.  I’ve started taking Vitex and EPO and have noticed a change in CM, so that will help!

DH wants to take a break until he finds out if we are gonna be moving across state, and I am trying to get on board(more then he thinks) bc for me each cycle that I ended up with Aunt Flo put me in such a depressed state for daaayyysss… I’m actually now fighting with myself on even if I want to have kids just for the pure fact of the heartbreak… If i say no kids ever, then there will be no heartbreak!

eaxh month really is a mind fuck. I’m almost sure I’m out this month for my BFP… And I’m in such a funk just sitting here waiting for flo.

@QueenGee87:  If we don’t get our BFP by this month (our 11th cycle),  I think we’re gonna NTNP for the next 3 or 4 months then we’ll decide what we want to do. I don’t really want to try IUI yet.. But i would like to find out what is taking so long lol we’ll see how it goes. TTC is taking a toll on both of us. It’s even more frustrating that a psychic told me I wouldn’t get pregnant till late 2015.

We have been TTC for 6 cycles. I did accupuncture (gave me migraines), temping, mucinex, pineapple, timing (difficult since DH works 1.5 hours away during the week).  Everytime I feel like a failure.  I have been under a lot of stress, though have a consistent cycle with a normal luteal phase.  This month we decided to NTNP.  I stopped temping.  The only thing we did was to BD on what is normally the day before ovulation and the day after. The challenge is I keep hearing that people get pregnant when they stop trying, so I keep thinking this will happen to me. I am trying to tell myself that it won’t happen this month.  TTC is awful.
