Did/Are you making each individual flower in your bouquet or centerpieces or whatever for your wedding?
What was your medium? (paper, fabric, clay, etc?)
Did you get crazy looks when you told people that you were actually making all the flowers for your wedding?
How long did it take you to make everything? Are you so scarred from making so many flowers that you never want to see one again for the rest of your life?
SHOW ME PICTURES! I want to see what everyone has made. Keep me going with my crazy decision to make all of my flowers, I need to know that people actually can do this! 🙂
I’m making my bouquets, bouts, and coursages out of silk that I’m hand-painting all the petals. I’m making all the centerpieces out of crepe paper.
So far I almost have enough flowers for my bouquet and have been making flowers for about a week or two on and off.
Here are a couple of pictures of some of my flowers:
Okay, I’ve shown you mine! Now show me yours!

I made my pew bow/flowers and 5 bouquets 13 crossages and kinda 10 jr brides mades “boquetes”
I made the pew bows and 4 of the boquetes out of book paper. 1 of the bouquets out of sheet music.
Corossages out of tulle and felt and…. I think fake flowers- I can’t even remember now.
Jr Boquetes we made out of pin wheels.
My boquetes fit I think what you are looking for most.
I got engaged in June of 2012 Married in October- So I did it all with in that time period. Each bouqute worth of flowers took about… 5 hours each. :/
Here are some pictures. you can’t see all of them super well- but they each had theire own thing going on. Mine was… all over the place- my MOH had pretty roster feathers that had been dyed blue and pearls. My sister had Pearls and white buttons, My Groomsmaid had purple ribbon and buttons and my baby sister had blue ribbon and buttons to fill in the space. my
These are the Pinwheels – They where cute!
Not the best Picture- Pro pictures are in recaps I’m just being lazy- But this is what I did for my pew decorations.
you cAN KINDA see the crossage on my moms wrist… again better found in recap pictures
but I like that I can keep my flowers after.
we are going to use our Pew Bows in our babys room- when the time comes.
I also kinda made my toss boquete although I don’t have anypictures- but i made it so it would fall apart and everyone would get a flower- I tied cute bows under each flower so they woudl stay together and I did it in pairs.. it was fun.,
