My husband and I have been doing this, and we look great! After three weeks I was down 7lbs, and he has lost 15. I still have the cravings, but he is totally cool with it haha.

@VikingPrincess:  yes i am! this is my 2nd week and I love it! I have lost 7lbs. My only issue is family/work pressure to consume sweets- goshdarn holidays

everyone who is asking, keto is short for ketogenic diet which is basically low carb. I have found the reddit keto community to be extremely informative.

@VikingPrincess:  I would like to start a low carb diet regimen. Can you give me a breakdown of the keto diet?? I’ve never heard of it before.

@VikingPrincess:  What is considered low carb?  What is a typical week like for you?

@VikingPrincess:  That’s awesome. I can’t do low carb for too long, or else I get headaches and horrible mood swings. Congrats on your weight loss 🙂

I think low carb diets are way better than what most people eat (standard American diet), but most of them don’t emphasize vegetables enough. Healthy fat is important, but vegetables should be eaten multiple times a day.
