@hannahlily:

We did the same thing for our wedding…except the guys wore ties instead of bowties.  We loved it.  We got married outdoors in Florida so it was great to not have them in jackets too.  But we had a really really hard time finding vests and pants to match…we ultimately ended up getting all the grooms’ vests and pants at Macys.  We got them on sale and then used our Macys card to get an additional 20% off.  I just checked online and they dont carry them anymore.  I dont remember the total price but I think they were like 50-75 each.  We were told vests are hard to come by since they are more of a winter item so we basically stalked Macys until they carried the ones that we wanted.  Mens Warehouse rents vests but they are more tux vests and we definitely didnt like the ‘shininess’ to them or the backs to the vests…they were all those crazy shiny tux colors.  We thought it was nice b/c the guys could at least wear the pants again (and the vests if they ever wanted).

@hannahlily:

We had the same issue with shopping on macys.com.  Id suggest calling them and checking.  We then actually ended up calling individual stores and having them ship us pieces.  We had stuff coming from all over the country.

Frustrating, but dont give up 🙂  Definitely call them…I feel like it happened a lot when we didnt see it online but called and then got in touch with individual stores across the US and ordered directly from the store.

This may sound crazy, but have you tried ebay? For a recent wedding we bought a tie, pocket square to match david’s bridal colors from a seller on ebay. they were decent quality. may be worth a look!
