I feel your pain. It's not easy to keep up the diet around the holidays. I normally work out a lot so I dread New Years resolution time at the gym- it gets crowded! But this year I'll be one of them. I'm just gonna have to pick it up a notch after Christmas. Nothing more motivating than that dress!
I'm sitting here eating chocolate truffles and now you remind me I'm having a fitting in a month. Crap.
Thanks ladies! I think I'll definitely be hopping back on the 30-day shred train after new years.
I have my first fitting the monday after xmas.....so nervous but I'm hoping the suckie in thing I bought does the trick!
Yes, not sure exactly when but it will most likely be the end of this month or beginning of January. I am so dreading that call when they tell me that my dress has arrived, I am so not ready for it. I really have to head to the gym on a regular basis instead of my once or twice a week spurts. Plus the holidays, wedding planning, and work have made the gym very tough to get to. But I gotta stop with the excuses, and make time.
YOU CAN DO IT!
I am not getting married until June, but when my dress arrived in September (yeah, I was a bit of an over-achiever and ordered WAY early!!), they originally told me to schedule my first fitting in January b/c they thought I seemed like a person who didn't "change sizes too much."
Well, I called last week to discuss BM dresses and they told me I could wait until March and i said OKAY!!! Thank goodness, b/c I've fallen off the wagon since October (I ran a marathon and then STOPPED running, yay me!).
YOU CAN DO IT. VISUALIZE HOW FANTASTIC YOU WILL LOOK in your dress if you get to the gym or avoid that piece of fudge!!

So my dress should be arriving in mid-January and I'm a bit nervous about the fit after the holidays. I figure I can do some extra cardio, but are any other bees in the same situation? What are you doing?
Also - due to my bc I went up roughly a cup size. I've noticed that some of my dresses no longer fit through the chest because of this and now I'm nervous about my strapless wedding dress fitting. I'm a bridal size 4 so I'm not sure that I have any extra weight to lose in my back, its just up front! Any advice? I'm not really sure how one would lose weight through the chest without going off of birth control and that's not really an option right now!
