@JenF: Yes I was only thinking this an hour ago, as I’m really starting to get emotional with three weeks to go – date twin 😉  I’m sat watching the Royal Wedding again as I recorded it and I’m getting teary at that.

im a serious crier – i cry a lot haha but i made it through the whole ceremony with no tears, though my eyes were a little damp when he said his vows.

it was the reception that did me in – the father daughter dance and the MOH speech.

haha check these out – attractive huh?

@totheislnds: Awww, you still look pretty even while you’re crying. 🙂

I’m SOO worried about this, lately I’ve been such a sap – even tearing up at COMMERCIALS!!  This is a major reason I’m doing a first look…I feel like I can get all my crying out of the way when he sees me for the first time and then I can retouch my makeup afterwards before the ceremony.  I’m hoping as a lot of other brides have said, I’ll just be happy smiling instead of happy crying!! lol

@totheislnds: Aww, I agree, these photo’s still look nice.

So you want to avoid this?

My husband thinks my crying pics are HILARIOUS! He even said to me when I got upset about having to leave our puppy for a few days. “You don’t have to cry, we’re not getting married again”.

Honey, believe me I cried so much on my wedding day. I got my make-up done at MAC and warned him that I am a crybaby. He gave me waterproof EVERYTHNG lol. I had no mishaps with make-up the whole day. I also bought certain things so that I could touch it up, if I needed to. You’ll be fine.

I have the same fear. Ever since we got engaged, I’ve been super emotional as I think about the wedding. Even just hearing the songs that we’ve considered for use during the ceremony makes me well up. And worse – I’m one of those people whose nose runs when they cry. So I’m probably going to look like a racoon with a serious head cold!

But you know, the pictures where the bride has tears in her eyes, like @totheislnds: and @camrie: are so beautiful to me – they show real joy. So I say, just get the best waterproof makeup you can, keep some kleenex nearby, and don’t worry too much about it.

Ok seriously when I don’t even watch American Idol but I turned on the last 15 minutes of the season to see who won (Scotty McCreery is from the town I work in so I had to check it out) and when they announced he won I almost started crying. I can’t watch movies anymore, I can’t do anything.

I feel the same way. I feel like I get chocked up about the silliest things. I was watching the back up plan and when he proposed to J. Lo, I lost it in tears. I tried on my veil the other day and when i put the blusher on, I immediately started getting teary.

I hope I’m not a wreck on our wedding day.
