- Wedding: October 2013
@MeadowsBee: Yeah, but unless you budget HOURS for photos, I just don’t see how every picture you want can get done, ya know? We didn’t take a crazy amount, and we did a first look, but we still missed almost the whole cocktail hour.
Try not to feel bad about it… Ultimately the wedding is really about being in the moment and spending that loved-up time with your favorite people. I’m sure you’ll have tons of pictures that you love.
It is what it is, as a photographer Im rushed all the time! Im lucky I get 15 minutes with my couple and it surely not for a lack of trying! Every wedding is behind….
@MeadowsBee: We had the same thing happen. Our photographer was faublous and tried really hard to make sure that we got every photo that was important to us, but everyone else was definitely rushing us. We haven’t gotten our pictures back yet, so I am hoping for the best. 😀
I make sure to get a list of photos before the day, and I just focus on those first.
It seems like every wedding runs late or something.
I felt super rushed, it was crazy. Actually I felt like the whole day from start to finish was rushed and I didn’t relax until we left the reception!! LOL
I will add though that we didn’t get all of the pictures we wanted. We didn’t get a few very important ones. I was upset for a little bit but got over it, in the end I got some frameworthy ones of me and my husband, I also got plenty I loved out of the 500 we got back so I got over it.
The church was running us out of there after the ceremony. We felt rushed, but our photographers handled it well and we got all the pictures we wanted, and they looked great! Don’t sweat!
Mr TTR & I got married at sunset.
Talk about rushed… we were fighting the fading light, with no do-over to fix that “god made” issue
In the end, I didn’t get all the shots I had hoped for…
But what I have in regards to the location… Beach, Water, Sun, Surf, Sand, Sky etc are all wonderful.
And the rest (lol, pics of the 2 of us) I can live with
Hope this helps,
