Yes yes yes yes YES!  This will be my 4th summer of container gardening, and I am fortunate to now have a small garden plot in back of my apartement building.  I love gardening in the summer months, is it so rewarding and it helps me to deepend my connection with nature!

My plan this year is:

Container Garden: Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Herb Box, 2 flower boxes, Eggplant barrel, Cucumbers

Garden Plot (Shady): Lettuces, Spinach, Beets, Beans and Peas.

So much fun!  Good luck with your wedding flowers, my parents will be growing mine on their farm in Vermont.  Good to see another gardener on the bee πŸ™‚

For just my garden, we tilled out an area of 40×50 (we live on 5 1/2 acres). I plan on doing corn, bell peppers, potatoes, onion, tomatos, strawberries, blueberries and more just haven’t decided!

yup! have a 7×7 herb garden –  tons of sage, my lavender and tarragon both came back too (woot!), and chives in there now, and will put some basil in when it gets a little warmer. (yay pesto!)

will do beans, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, swiss chard and probably a few hills of yellow squash in the veggie garden.

and lots of flowers/shrubs/bulbs etc in the other beds. πŸ™‚

Yes, the house we bought came with a pretty large, well established perennial garden, but it is in dire need of some TLC, since the house was vacant all last summer.

We’re doing some major landscaping overhauls & plan on putting in quite a few raised beds as well as a full fledged veggie garden.

Last year is was so wet nothing grew very well for lack of photosynthesis, this year it seems to be looking like it might be more drought-like conditions, but I’m still optimistic.
