@Beachy0404:  Im not even close to my wedding day but I avoid thinking of the walking down the aisle, vows and such because it makes me FREAK. For this exact reason, we’re doing a first look and hopefully it will be much much easier on me, and I can keep the panic attack at bay 😛

Weird for me too, I don’t freak over much – its just being in front of so many people with all eyes on you, its not my idea of fun!

I had a full blown panic attack for most of my 30 minute ceremony.  It was the worst and made my pictures look horrible.

I tried everything from looking at my fiance, to deep breathing, to staring at the crowd for a second to “adjust” my perspective (tell myself that I know everyone there…fact was it was mostly his side of hte family so it made me nervous)

I cried through my vows at the REHEARSAL. So I was worried about doing it at the wedding–but I was totally zen on the actua day!

I was nervous too. But after the rehearsal I felt a lot better because then I knew exactly how it was going to go and what I was supposed to do.

I got nausiated just watching one of my friends walk down the aisle a few weeks ago. I’m definitely nervous!  Hopefully, I can translate some of it into excitement on the day of but, if not, it should at least be over quickly.

@Beachy0404:  I am in the same boat.  I hate the idea of a large group of people all staring at me.  My fiance is really nervous about mixing up the words of our vows.

I am hoping our rehersal will help us both.  The good news is, the ceremony is short.  Then it’s time to party!  🙂

Ugggg I’m probably gonna puke. The idea of all eyes on us really makes me nervous plus we are going to be married on a beach so adding random strangers to the list doesn’t help. I am so worried abut the vows because I most definitely cry and stumble my words thats why I want to just use traditional vows so less chance to mess up but my sweetheart of a FI wants us to write our own which I think is so sweet.

@dressedinlovexo:  we’re doing it on a beach too!

I have social anxiety, which doesn’t help anything. We are keeping the guestlist around 50-60 closest people we know. We’ll most likely do a first look as well.

I also go bright red when I’m nervous. i mean like blochy chest and everything. I plan on getting a nice spray tan to hopefully hid it! haha ugh

@memo:  We are trying to keep it low key as well inviting 75 but it’s a mini destination wedding. I wanted to do do a first look partially for that reason but the FI is completely against it he is not the traditional type but is firmly against seeing me beforehand because he wants to be completely and utterly surprised.

We sound like twins I get like that too. When I was in my undergrad and I had people come observe me for my internship I would wear a scarf to hide any blotchiness BUT of course my cheeks couldn’t be hidden haha.

I’m pretty sure I self diagnosed myself with soial anxiety

omg chest blotchiness is the worst! I’m currently in school again, and when i do presentations, i wear a high cut shirt. I have a practical exam next week, but we have to wear uniforms (scrubs), so I don’t know if I will be able to hide it! i’ll be so embarassed.

I think I’ll try makeup on the big day too! Good idea
