@kaylee26:  I’m 6 month in now and so glad I made the changes. I feel so much better about myself and you will too, its so worth it even if at times you hate it.

my fiance has decided to do that…..I have been trying, but it’s hard…hoefully since he is doing it it will be easier…

@kaylee26:  I am 6 months in.  Don’t forget weights!  Weights will help shed the pounds in a way that cardio-only can’t do.

I am! I had to take a break because I got a little obsessive..  I was plannig my WHOLE life around my gym classes, and lost a lot of inches and did not look good.  I’m slowly creeping back in and put my gym membership on hold. I have a great place near my apartment to run for free.. and am doing bootcamp 3x a week for now. 

My plan:

Bootcamp in the park 3x a week

Run 1 day

Bikeride 1 day.

 

I really really wish I could do yoga.. but it’s sooo boring to me! Has anyone had good experience with yoga?

Working on it right now! I put on a bit of “dissertation flab” sitting at my computer over the past year, but I just passed my defense (WOO-HOO!!!), am finishing the revisions as we speak, deposit the finalized diss. tomorrow (EVEN MORE WOO-HOO!!!) and I’ve been getting back to running now that the weather is nice. Plus, I recently became pregnant (EVEN *MORE* WOO-HOO!!!!!!) so I have an extra incentive to be more diligent about exercising. My goal is to gradually replace the dissertation flab with healthy baby weight.

Yep! Starting right now. BF and I was supposed to be back on the wagon yesterday but I caved today and got some McDonald’s for lunch…ugh, I feel so guilty now. Looks like I will be having a very light dinner tonight.
