I love the beautiful, chic vintage weddings out there on the blogosphere. We are having a vintage wedding too, but just a different era: art deco. Anyone else having a different kind of vintage? Does it make google searches super frustrating?

@WithLovein2012: Count us in that club. My fiance and I are also planning our wedding with an art deco theme. We host an annual Gatsby party for all our friends and we want to bring an evening version of that era into our event. I know exactly what you mean about ‘a different kind of vintage’ and the difficulty of finding the right kind of decorative accessories! I’d love to hear what you have planned!

We’re doing a sort of Old Hollywood vintage feel. Lots of black and white, roses, feathers, etc.

We are getting married in the LA library which was built in the 1920’s, so that’s the source of everything at this point. I am defintely still gathering inspiration for the table decor, but so far i’ve loved looking at print and paper design.
I am thinking about combining these two elements with a few tweaks and using the monogram through the wedding.
Have you heard about rouche’s new line? A lot of it’s 20’s inspiried. I am really excited to see the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Introducing the Ruche Wedding Collection
I would love to hear more about your plans, too!

@julies1949: Oh my goodness! I’ve been looking for a site like this for so long..I never thought to search specifically for art deco wedding. I’ve tried 1920s, 30s, blah blah..this nails it totally! Thanks for posting it!
OP, isn’t this what vintage really is? 😉
