I'm not sure what the APPIC match is, but I am doing the NRMP residency match! Just a few more weeks (March 18)!! I'm anxious!
I think APPIC is for psychology internships, but don't quote me.
Ah, I remember waiting for NRMP! That was such a happy day, followed by years of really hard work! :)
good luck!! this is the suckiest part - where are just waiting. and waiting. and waiting some more. its such an awful process (i graduated 2008 w/ Psy.D.). And that feeling doesn't go away until you open that email that says you matched. Definitely keep yourself distracted w/ wedding stuff!
OH, yes!! @ddubzz, I'm a psychology grad student--same computerized matching process as for medical residency. We hear next Friday. Arrrgh.
Coincidence that after reading weddingbee for almost two years, my posting has risen exponentially this week? I think not.

I matched, and will be moving to Philadelphia later this year. I'm in a nearby city already, so it shouldn't be too hard of a relocation - we're still figuring out how this will work out for us as a couple, though. Hope you're happy with where you matched!

Just curious!! The wedding has been a great distraction for waiting, but I'm starting to get worried. Especially since the results will also determine how often FI and I will see each other after we are married!
