My Fiance and I have, besides our own in March,

    1 in FL

    2 in MI

    1 in NY

    1 in SC

    1 in NJ

Sigh.... it seems like this is the year everyone we know is getting married, and it's going to get expensive!

IN 2009 I had: 1 NY, 1 OH, 1FL, 1 IL. So glad that's over with. I'm actually the only wedding I'm attending in 2010! Whoohoo!

We're up to 5 already.  We'll probably only make it to 4 of them though.

I have 3 to go to.  But 2 are on the same day (Sept. 11th of all days) so I will have to skip 1 of them.  Just don't go to all of them if you can't afford it.  People will understand!  That's way too much traveling for weddings if you ask me!

I only have 4, two of which will be local.  What we had/have a lot of are BABIES!  Between Sept. 09 and August '10, I know TEN babies that were/will be born (two sets of twins).  Madness!  :)

Not sure yet. We have 1 in Boston and ours in NY.

B has three cousins who are engaged: 1 in VA, and 2 in New Jersey/Philly.

I don't know if we actually will GO to any other than ours and our friends' in Boston.

Well so far I have three weddings and a baby next summer.

Best friend's wedding July (and I'm a bridesmaid)

    Other wedding in July

FI's cousin has a baby in August

    My wedding in September

Best friend's friend's wedding in October- and I am a bridesmaid

It's going to be busy and we may be invited to more weddings.

Wow! That's a lot of weddings!

As of right now we have one in Feb, one in April, and possibly one in November (not sure if we'll be invited, 'cause they're trying to keep it small...which I can definitely relate to, haha!)

1 in September, very small and only 2 hours away.

Possibly a second in New York or Maryland. SO's cousin (they're more like brothers) is seriously thinking about proposing to his girlfriend very soon. She and I have talked about weddings and she wants a small wedding and short engagement. I have my fingers crossed for them! She's been waiting 13 months now! They went ring shopping December 2008.

We have two, but I've never been inivted to a wedding before so it's kind of exciting! They're both back near my home town and within a month of each other so I won't be able to go to both (if it had been like within a week of each other maybe, but I can't travel back home twice in 3 weeks or take a 3 week long vacation home lol). Hoping I can make the June one, but the May one will be around finals so it wouldn't work out anyway.

We are breathing a sigh of relief that, so far as we know, we only have our own wedding to attend in 2010.

2009 was a whole different story -- we attended SEVEN weddings, including one destination wedding in Las Vegas in which I was the MOH. It was a huge time (not to mention financial!) commitment to attend all seven, so we're hoping we'll get 2010 off!

Only one other than mine, it's my cousins.  So the family is excited since we haven't had wedding in a while.  I wish there were more since I would love to go and see get ideas but that was me a couple of years ago where we had about 6 weddings each year.  It was busy and expensive!

And @ms. starfish, we're date twins!

We just moved from VA to NH and I feel like everyone (including us) decided to get married and have babies this year! 2 of my bridesmaids are getting married and 1 (MOH) is having a baby due the week before the wedding, so far our schedule is crazy

Feb - 2 babies due (1 is our close friend who is our officiant)

March - 2 weddings and I'm throwing a baby shower and bachelorette for a bridesmaid

May - our wedding, another wedding, 2 babies due

    July - 1 wedding

    September - 1 wedding

2 other weddings with dates not set (1 is FI's sister)

8 weddings and 4 babies for close friends! AHH!

I actually have NO weddings in 2010 so far.  We have one couple of friends whom I thoguht would be engaged and married in 2010, but I think it sounds like they're going to be waiting a little while.  Other than that, all my friends are either single or married.  No one else even close!  I found that there was a big run on weddings with my friends right after college, then just before everyone turned 30 and since then...it was just us. ;)

We have 8 weddings 3 out of state.  We are going to make 1 out of state for sure but with our own wedding in the mix I doubt we'll make the other out of State ones.  We will also miss one here because it is the week after ours. We have 2 babies on the way.  That we know of :)

We have 7 other than our own that we will attend, but 10 total not including ours that we will likely be invited to next year. At least the ones we are attending are all in the same state!

YES.. it seems like everyone I know is engaged now! Besides my own next year, I am in 3 weddings and will be attending 5 more (that I know of.) So that's a total of 9 weddings- yikes! I'm gonna go broke! And I'm sure we'll get unexpected invites from a few others. Seems like 2010 is gonna be a big year for weddings!

2009 was the year of the wedding for us - we were # 9, and we turned down one.  This year I see @ least 3 on the horizon, of course not in our town.  Every wedding is a destination wedding, woohoo! ;)

thankfully, we only have 2 this year, but in 2007 (the year we got married) we had 7 besides our own, in 2008 we had 5, and in 2009 we had 5. So I'm looking forward to not having a ton of weddings this year!

So far, NONE!! But this doesn't even begin to catch us up for the past 4-5 years.  In the past 5 years on average we attend about 6-10 weddings per year!! I'm so happy that our circle of friends seems to be graduating out of the wedding age and into the childbirth arena!

We got engaged Dec. 06 and ideally wanted to marry in November 07.  We couldn't do it because we had to attend 8 weddings in 12 weeks all from Oct. - Dec.!!!!  Of those 8 we were IN 3 of them!  We couldn't even find a weekend to get married where we could go on our honeymoon and not miss another wedding!  Gah!  We pushed our wedding back an entire year just to accomodate!

Just our own, I think! But my cousin is planning on getting engaged on valentine's day so it could be hers too, though I think she'll probably wait and have a longer engagement.
