You can actually get huge curtains from a variety of places, I would actually try JC Penny. You would be amazing at the kind of styles and overall beautiful selections that they have. Or you can check around for canopy curtains or hangings, which are longer than overall curtains. But the ones you are looking for are just really long in length, like probably about 100+ inches.

Those ones are 108 in length.

The curtains on the side look to me like they were hung on their own rod which gives them the box appearance.

Seems like something you’d be better off making rather than buying because, well if you sew them, you can make them exactly what you want!  Do you sew?

They actually have Ikea closets on the sides of their bed, with the curtains working as closet doors. I believe the curtains are also from Ikea.

I love that look too! It’s so peaceful and relaxing.

I think any type of store that carries curtains like that will have panels in different lengths.  Figure our how many inches you want your to be and how many panels you need and you are all set to head to the store!

Hi there.  I’m a big YHL fan too!  Those curtains are actually used as the fronts to their two ikea cabinet wardrobes.  Smart, right?  So they are actually just normal curtains in front of white cabinets, not special curtains.

Here’s the YHL tutorial so you can get a clearer picture of how they created the look and a whole bunch of storage to boot: http://www.younghouselove.com/2008/02/over-our-heads/
