I registered for a serving bowl and plate(at the advice of the sales girl). Luggage set for my FI(for honeymoon) and a retro popcorn popper. And I liked it all.
When I got back home after registering, I went online and saw the price of the serving bowl and plate. I could not believe the price. So I took that off the list.
Then yesterday I realized that registering for a luggage set is not a good idea. My Fiance will need it for the very next day when we leave for the honaymoon. If someone did buy it, we might not receive it in time. So I took it off the list. We can buy a luggage set for him.
And then the retro popcorn popper….. I realized I liked the more modern simple ones from target or walmart. I will just buy one from there. SO I took that off the list.
Soo bees, did you take items off your list as well? What were your reasons??

Oh yes. I am so thankful that we can manage our registries online, because the sales people would not be very happy with me!
We had originally registered for this one set of plates from BBB. We looked at the online reviews when we came home and they were all awful. So, we took those off and switched it.
Mostly, I have moved things around on registries because I will realize that one store has what I want at a better price than the other. I’ve also thought of a few things after we did our big sweep for registering. I would also look at registries of friends getting married, see something that they put on there and thought it was a good idea, so I would add it.

Yep, we added and subtracted items every once in while. Sometimes the items went out of stock or weren’t available, and other times we found something we liked better or had better reviews.
We also ended up buying a few things we really needed that we’d registered for, so we took those off too.

Yes, we had a pushy saleslady make us pick luggage too. When I got home and saw it was over a thousand dollars for the set, it was promptly deleted. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have gone somewhere that had commission-driven registries!

I deleted some stuff I realized I didnt’ need..or that I realized I was kind of embarrassed to register for (bathroom scale, bathrobes)…I dunno, at the time I think I went kinda nuts without considering this is a list that people will actually see.

i removed a ton of stuff after we registered. In fact, after my shower I took nearly everything off. I wish I had removed more, since it’s all still boxed up in my parent’s basement as we speak…

I removed some things when we got home after I read the reviews. We didn’t register for that much stuff, since we’re having a pretty small wedding. But after we registered we did go home & check the reviews on the items (which I’m so glad we did!) and a few things had horrible reviews by a ton of people.
