i am worse! i am also in grad school, and this is my final week, but i still see myself checking out wedding blogs/websites and communicating with photographers, MUA..etc. i can't seem to focus on any of my school work! at this point, i am just hoping i pass all my finals!
I am right there with you! It's my finals week too, and instead of studying, I find myself easily distracted by rearching wedding stuff.
I not only have "newly engaged wedding brain" but have had migraines the last 3 days.
My FI has wedding brain too. He's already looking at ties and has decided, along with my bil, what they want to wear in the wedding (and he wants exactly what I want him to wear..but he decided it on his own).
So this is good. Except for the migraine part.
I wish I could have wedding brain! I just finished finals yesterday but I have a HUGE test (kinda like the bar for lawyers but BEFORE all the school instead of after) in January so I have to wait till after that to actually admit to having wedding brain.
Want!!
Mines is coming in spells. When I was first engaged, I had wedding brain. I researched for hours, brought and analyzed every bridal magazine and then I just stopped cold turkey. Then, for the next year, I was focused on work, volunteering, and applying to grad schools. Now that I am actually a year from my wedding, I had to get back in wedding brain mode. I hope I can!
Wish me luck ladies!
I have been trying to let go of my wedding brain but it just keeps finding me. When I am awake I research for hours online and then in my sleep I have good dreams and nightmares. I have tried to tell myself no more planning until after xmas and the new year, but I keep finding myself going back to planning and researching... I need wedding obsessed annoyamous...or just indulge here at the hive!!!
@Steenie: I dream about the stuff I research, too! Sometimes nightmares, yikes! But I'm making myself get a lot done over the break because I'll be back in grad school next semester which gives me less time to plan :(
@PolarBear: Good LUCK!
From the moment I open my eyes until I close them again later that night I have my wedding on my brain ALL THE TIME. Most of the time I don't mind but sometimes I wish I could just tuck it away for a few.
I love that I can obsess over my wedding here with you girls b/c then I don't feel like I drive everyone else crazy... Some of my friends are married but my MOH is my little sis and doesn't even have a serious bf so I know my wedding talk probbaly drives her crazy.... Here I can talk about my wedding and know that no one finds it annoying at all :)
OMG I have the most awful case of weddingbrain! I'm supposed to be doing the analysis on my master's thesis so I can finish it and begin studying for the medical boards...but all I can think about is wedding, wedding, wedding!
I'm SO SO SO thankful for weddingbee. I think my fiance would have left me by now without it!
@misswinn: I'm with you -- all my friends are single and my mom eloped, so no help there! :)

Ever since I finished my classes for the semester (I'm in grad school) I have nothing but wedding projects on the brain! It's been so long since I've thought about anything wedding related because school has consumed my life! I must say, I sure do enjoy wedding brain!
Can anyone else relate?
